Thinning hair
Nutritionist claim that a bad diet is one of the main causes of hair loss in women, together with stress, hereditary factors and hormonal changes. To reduce stress, take time out for yourself and learn to say no. Relaxing baths with a conditioning treatment should help stress levels and your hair conditions.
Self-help: If you begin to notice excessive hair loss (70 to 100 hairs per day is normal), take a multi-vitamin or mineral supplements to improve your general health.
Sagging breast
Sorry, but there's little you can do about pull of gravity, which is what causes breasts to sag with age (after breastfeeding particularly). Buy good support bra which fits you properly.
Self-help: Always ensure that you wear a special sport bra when exercising. Check your breasts regularly for lumps or any abnormalities. Do these exercise for ten minutes, three times a week, and you will see an improvement.
Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a condition in which post-menopausal women and even some younger women lose bone density, is a major cause of broken bones and fractures, Eating a good diet with plenty of calcium-rich foods and oily fish helps to keep bones strong. Stick to low-fat dairy product such as skimmed milk and yogurt which contain the same amount of calcium but half the fat content. As much as possible, try to walk don't ride.
Self-help: Three vigorous 20 to 40 minute sessions a week of weight-bearing exercise such as brisk walking, running, or aerobics, will increase your bone density. If your diet's low in calcium, supplements are available from chemists and supermarkets.
Age spots on skin
Smoking, sun pollution, cold weather badly affect the skin. To keep a young-looking complexion, stick to a healthy diet, with plenty of oily fish, foods containing antioxidant. Vitamins A, C, and E, which help to neutralize unwanted body by-products and drink lots of water. Get enough sleep, exercise in the fresh air and apply a sunscreen in winter and summer.
Eye strain
Working at a monitor screen can lead to eye strain and make them dry, which cause infection. Take regular breaks and position the monitor to minimize reflection and glare from lights and sunlights.
Self-help: When did your last have your eyes tested? Studies show that up to five million drivers need to wear glass or update their current prescription. So, if you haven't had an eye tests for years, now's the time. An eye examination can sometimes lead to early detection of diabetes and high blood pressure. Use artificial artificial tear drops if your eyes feel itchy and dry.
Aching feet
High heels can cause bony thickening of the joints and shortening of calf muscles, and the extra height alters your center of gravity, throwing your hips forward and putting strain on your lower spine. Tight shoes cramp and sometimes even deform the toes, resulting in bunions and corns when the circulation is restricted. Always make sure shoes allow plenty of room but are not so big as to make the backs rub against your heels and cause blisters. If you must wear high-heeled shoes, invest in a pair of flat ties to take you to the office and then change. Leather shoes are a must as synthetics make the feet sweat and can cause infections such as athlete's foot.
Receding gums
Gum disease is often a bigger problem than tooth decay, as it can lead to bone loss and loosening of the teeth. It is usually the result of plague build-up. Target the areas by brushing the teeth thoroughly twice a day; cleaning between the teeth with floss and toothpick as well as an antibacterial mout
