MyVoice began in Japan in 1998 and was originally set up by the Itochu Corporation of Japan. As every MyVoice experience is different in each country the review I’m writing is about MyVoice Panel in the UK.

In the UK, MyVoice Ltd is jointly owned by Itochu Corporation and the local MyVoice UK management team. Currently it has almost 100000 members.

Sign Up:

It’s easy and free to join. Anyone above 18 can join the panel, but only members from the UK can get MyVoice survey invitations and redeem earnings.

You can sign up by visiting www.myvoice.co.uk and clicking a blue banner “Join now and Earn 250 points”. Then you need provide your personal information including your name, your residential address, email address, date of birth, and a password to create an account. Once registered, you will automatically receive an activation email with a link to confirm your membership and 250 points in your MyVoice account.

Once you click on the link, you can log on your account to fill your profile. it’s not essential to input all the information but if you do you will have more chance to receive MyVoice survey invitations.

The Surveys:

Similar to most survey websites you can only participate in their surveys after your get a survey invitation from MyVoice via your email account. In general the time length and the reward for each survey will always be stated in the survey invitation. Although you don’t need to answer the pre-screen questions to see if you are qualified to complete the survey or not, there still is a chance that you will be screened out. If it does happen, you will still get 10 MyVoice points and everyone will get entered into to the month's prize draw.

The surveys are about different topics and subject matters. The surveys rewards are calculated in MyVoice points system. Currently the value of 100 MyVoice points is £1.

The Referral:

You will earn 25 MyVoice Points by referring friends to the Myvoice Panel. It’s very simple. What you need to do it to fill out a form on MyVoice Panel. Then MyVoice will send an invitation email to your friends to join in.

The Payment:

Once your MyVoice points reach 2000 you can redeem them for vouchers. There are 34 item to choose on MyVoice Panel, such as Asda, Argos, Boots, Bhs, just to name a few. After the redemption usually you need to wait for 4 weeks to receive your order.

What I like?

I have joined over 20 paid surveys websites since 2009. From my experience, MyVoice Panel is just an acceptable survey panel.

The layout of the MyVoice Panel is quite pleasing and easy to follow. The main items are in black colour and simply displayed. Whenever I click on any of the items, I am very quickly taken to my requested page.

The survey length is reasonably long. Most surveys I have completed were less than 10 minutes. Also after I've completed each survey, the payment has always instantly appeared in my MyVoice account. A small incentive is made if I’m not qualified as their targeted person, so I never come away empty-handed for any survey.

What I dislike?

First, It seems MyVoice doesn’t have many surveys. I rarely receive survey invitations from them. In fact I can go a whole month without a single invitation. And when I do receive an invitation the survey incentive maybe just for 10 points or 25 points. That made the payment threshold a bit too high to me. It took me almost 10 months to redeem my first £20 voucher.

Second, Once you made a redemption for your hard-made earnings you still need wait for another month to receive.

Third, there is only one redemption option on MyVoice Panel. They can only pay you vouchers. To many people including me it’s the least appealing choice. I would like to say it would make MyVoice more favourable if PayPal was included as an option to receive payment.

Conclusion:

I would recommend MyVoice to anybody who is interested in making money for surveys in their spare time. MyVoice is not as great as some other survey websites, but at least in the end they do pay you and every little helps.
