Panelbase.net is an online research panel which rewards members for participating in market research surveys. Currently it only accepts new registrations from UK residents.

 Sign Up:

It’s easy and free to join. You can sign up by visiting www.panelbase.net and clicking a navy blue link “Click here to join now”. Then you need to provide your email address, a password, personal details and address details to create an account. Once registered, you will automatically receive an activation email with a link to confirm your membership.

Once you click on the link, you'll earn £3 straight away on your account. You can also log on your account to fill up more details about you. There are totally 16 items that contain a selection of questions to answer, such as household information, holiday preferences, internet usage, just name a few. You can answer as many or as few of these questions as you like, but the more information you provide, the more chance for you to get surveys that are relevant to your personal interests and lifestyle.

The Surveys:

Similar to most survey websites you can only participate in their surveys after your get a survey invitation from Panelbase via your email account. In general the time length and the reward for each survey will always be stated in the survey invitation. Then you need to answer a few pre-screen questions to see if you are qualified to complete the survey or not.

The surveys are about different topics and subject matters. The surveys rewards are calculated in pounds and pence. Depending on the survey length the rewards start from 50p to £2.00, £2.50 or even more. If you are not qualified for the full survey you will get a monthly prize draw for £50 cash.

The Referral:

You will get £0.20 for each of your UK-based referrals. In addition to this, the top 5 members who have referred the most people in each calendar month will have their qualifying referral rewards trebled for that month.

The Payment:

Once your earnings reach £10.00 you will be able to withdrawn them in four options: BACS (paid directly into your bank account), cheque (sent to your registered address), high-street vouchers (sent to your registered address) or charitable donations. Then Panelbase.net will send you an inform email letting you know that they receive your withdrawn request. When the payment is processed you will get another inform email. Usually the payment would take 10-30 days to complete.

What I like?

I have joined over 20 paid surveys websites since 2009. From my experience Panelbase.net is a good, but not great survey panel.

First, the layout of Panelbase.net is quite simple and easy to follow. Whenever I check my details or my account I am always very quickly taken to my requested page. The Help page can answer all the questions you need to know as a member.

Second, the survey rewards are appropriate for the time I have spent. Generally after I've completed each survey, the payment instantly appeared in my Panelbase account.

Third, not like most survey websites that pay you vouchers or prize draw entries, Panelbase provides more options to redeem my earnings including cash. And the payment threshold is reasonably set.

What I dislike?

It seems Panelbase doesn’t have many surveys. I rarely receive survey invitations from them. In fact I can go a whole month without a single invitation. And when I do receive an invitation I’m frequently screened out.

Conclusion:

I would recommend panelbase.net to anybody who is interested in making money for surveys in their spare time. Panelbase.net is not as great as some other survey websites, but at least in the end they do pay you.
