Alcohol and caffeine content can ruin a person’s mood. Although alcohol can relax a person for a little while, in the end it eventually worsens the mood. Similarly, caffeine content can also provide strong energy for a short while but once the energy is used up, the same person would feel depressed.

2) Exercise

Did you know that exercise is one of the best natural remedies for depression? Exercise can help boost and improve mood by releasing mood-elevating chemicals in the brain which decreases any stress hormones. Always perform different exercise techniques whether it is playing sports, walking or jogging. However, only perform what is in your interest to avoid boredom.

3) Apple

Apples are an excellent treatment for depression. Vitamin B, phosphorus and potassium helps the fusion of glutamic acid. This acid helps prevent any damage to the nerve cells by wearing and tearing and can improve the nerves with new energy. This fruit is best taken with honey and milk which helps improve the mood.

4) Rose

This may seem to be an abnormal depression treatment but mixing around 15mg of rose petals into a kettle of boiling water can help significantly reduce depression. So now you know that instead of just smelling the aroma of flowers, you can use rose petals for your depression treatment.
