J. Crew doesn't have particularly ethical practices (one of the reasons that I don't do more of my shopping with them). It doesn't have many good environmental practices, and its items are made overseas in countries where labor abuses are common. J. Crew has a great loyalty program! I also like that when you create an account, you can save a wishlist of items (and then check back later to see if anything has gone on sale)!

KMM & Co.'s products are all made in America, not in factories overseas. (If you're in the Atlanta area, you can even visit their studio!) A lot of the leather that they use is produced in the United States. They use as much of each piece of leather as possible, and they even sell "seconds" totes, like ones with scratches or brands, instead of throwing away the leather. All of their packaging is also recyclable, and things won't arrive covered in plastic that you have to put in the trash.

Kule doesn't offer the least expensive striped shirts on the market, but its prices are very competitive when you're talking about high-end tees. (Their striped tees also wear extremely well and still look brand-new after being washed many times. So they are worth every penny!)
