Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: What are the best SEO link building techniques in 2019?
To answer this question for 2019, many SEO specialists say that high quality guest posting is one of the best ways to build your link building strategy. However, this only works if the blogs you write for are relevant to your company, the article focuses on a real topic (and not just how great your company is) and you put a focus on developing valuable, unique content.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: Which is the best online site to make money
This is a tough question, because while there are a lot of online sites that pay writers, most aren't great quality and might not be worth your time. If you're experienced, a site like Toptal is extremely legitimate and offers work from high profile clients like JP Morgan and Airbnb.

If you use a service like Fernish, it can actually be quite affordable! They have some great, high quality pieces that rent super affordably. For example, a love seat can be rented for about $35-40/mo.

While I haven't tried one myself, I've heard great things about Canvas, which is owned by Ford!

If you're looking for phone cases, I really recommend OtterBox! I'm very clumsy with my phone and I drop it all the time, and my OtterBox case has held up amazingly! Several dives in water and being dropped out a second story window didn't leave a scratch.

For those who have tried a strict diet like the keto diet or Whole30 diet, it sounds like shopping and cooking with all the restrictions can be hard. Would you do this yourself or would you use a meal prep kit, where the ingredients and recipes for meals are delivered to you?

I've heard great things about Malwarebytes-- other users have said it's straight forward to use, powerful, and great for preventing future incidences.

While Budget Rent-a-Car UK does offer car seats for babies, unfortunately you will have to put. I found on their website that they charge £10 per day for a maximum of seven days.

Living in sunny (but dry) California, I'm always looking to save water. I've heard that smart sprinklers like Rachio or Rain Machine can help to conserve water. but I want to hear your personal experiences. Has yours helped you cut down on water use?

I've been reading more and more about smart doorbells like Ring, and they seem like a great way to be more safety conscious, especially for those with kids. I'm very curious to know if anyone out there has tried one and what they think!

Giselle Krachenfels upvoted Kaysen Oerther's answer to Does at-home teeth whitening work?
If you brush your teeth regularly and see no effect, then you have to change your lifestyle: try to drink less coffee and tea, stop smoking. Probably, you should try toothpaste with RDA more than 75 (but be careful, you can damage your teeth). If this little tips don't work, then it's better to visit a dentist and ask for professional teeth whitening. When you try whitening at home, in the best case that won't work. But also you can face with serious teeth ploblems.

As someone newly single, I'm thinking about using dating apps to meet people. However, I'm frankly not a big fan of them. For people suspicious/jaded about dating apps and all the swiping, what would you recommend?

Giselle Krachenfels upvoted fabian uber's answer to What's the best social media safety tip for teens and college students?
Most importantly, not posting anything explicit or it can come back to haunt you, everyone knows how to do a screenshot or screen record nowadays, and definitely singing up with different passwords  and denying third party apps from accessing your social media

Giselle Krachenfels upvoted Rachel Auerbach's answer to Where can I get inexpensive but solid quality winter boots?
I'm a big fan of Timberland boots (not the cheapest), but I would search websites like Poshmark, thredUP, or even Ebay to find a pair of them that are secondhand. You can also search sites like 6pm, which has discounted prices on popular brands, but they might only come in a brighter color.

Giselle Krachenfels upvoted Taylor Gut's answer to What's your preferred ridesharing app?
I travel frequently for work and Uber has been the easiest and most reliable.  Once you begin your ride, the app actually has a feature where you can access your safety kit if for any reason you feel unsafe. I have never had to use it thankfully and I have not heard otherwise from other users.  Their customer support has always been super helpful.  I had an experience in San Francisco when my driver missed a turn so I was charged the toll fee unnecessarily.  All it took wa...

Giselle Krachenfels upvoted Michael Quoc's answer to What's your preferred ridesharing app?
Speaking with drivers who drive for both Uber and Lyft, it appears that they treat their drivers roughly the same, and pay seems similar on both apps, so there's no clear preference on the driver's part for either one. Depending on the location, I prefer to use Lyft, but sometimes Uber will get you a car more quickly.

Have you had a good experience with your robot vacuum cleaning on carpeted services? If so, what brand of vacuum do you have? I'm thinking about getting one and I have mostly carpeted floors, so this would be an important feature for me.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: Has anyone used Meater before? How's the wireless range?
While I haven't personally used it before, I've heard really positive feedback about it's range, in particular about the newest model: Meater+. The Meater+ allegedly has a wireless range of 165 feet, but reviewers say it's closer to 30-40 feet. However, this is still awesome compared to most of the other options on the market, which typically have a wireless range of 10-30 feet.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: What is the best firm mattress?
For a firm mattress, I would choose a memory foam one. They can usually provide better back and ergonomic support because of how they can cradle your body.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: What's the best audio fitness app you've tried?
One I've recently been loving is called "Zombies, Run!" Essentially, the idea is that you've in the midst of a zombie apocalypse and you're trying to run to safety. The app will give you different missions and warn you when you need to speed up and how to go about collecting supplies.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: Does at-home teeth whitening work?
I know that everyone's teeth respond differently to whitening, but I've had a lot of success with classic Crest white strips! They've been effective but also very gentle (I have sensitive teeth), which I appreciate.

While I'm not a parent, I do have a twin brother, so I think I have some qualification to answer this. I would say it's really important not to compare your multiples to one another too harshly, even though they're close in age. When it comes to hitting certain milestones or achievements, keep in mind that they're individual people with different strengths and weaknesses, so they can't be compared with the same metrics. Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: What dating apps are there that are geared towards seniors?
I think that eHarmony could be a great option because it doesn't make you search for matches, which can be an exhausting part of online dating. It also has one of the highest success rates of any dating site, and one of the highest active memberships.

I think that a great option would be this one from Imperfect Life. It has a lot of cool, unconventional features like a roadmap to charity, constant check-ins to happiness banks, and mistake logs for ditching perfectionism, in addition to tracking daily tasks.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: What health benefits does honey have?
I can't speak for all kinds of honey, but manuka honey in particular has some amazing health benefits. It has anti-viral, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects. This means that it has benefits from helping heal wounds & sore throats to reducing inflammation and improving digestive symptoms.  I have a few teaspoons my tea from time to time and found it has been really helpful for my stomach when it's upset.

Giselle Krachenfels posted an answer to: What's your preferred ridesharing app?
Personally, I like Lyft the best! I've definitely had better experiences with drivers, convenience, & customer service with Lyft than I have with Uber. Additionally, some of the issues Uber has had with their management make me more inclined to use Lyft.
