Many colours are available including white, blue and pink. There are other lights which stay lit, blink and glow. Your choice depends on your household conditions and how much money you are willing to spend for your decorations.

1) Mini Christmas Lights!

During the earlier years, mini Christmas lights were a popular choice before the LED Christmas lights. The shape of the lights resembles candles with diameters ranging from 1\4 inch and above. They consume less electricity than c6, c7 and c9 Christmas lights. You can find more information on the C-series lights below.

2) LED Christmas Lights!

LED Christmas lights are different to many of the bulbs mentioned in this article. Apparently, these LED lights are built from tiny solid chips similar to those used in computers. Its job is to convert electricity to light without having to use a filament. They use less power than normal bulbs which means you can attach as many strands as you like without worrying about overloading the socket. Also because they use less power, it means they won’t get hot which saves your home from a fire risk. They can last for several years as much as 20. This could save you extra money from buying the usual bulbs that have a shorter lifespan. However, the price of these LED lights is expensive but is worth your money in the long term.

3) C6, C7 and C9 Christmas Lights!

This group of lights are well known as the C-series. They are different to each other in their own way. The c6 is the smallest out of the three and appears as a strawberry bulb. It is 3\4 inch in diameter and higher than an inch in height. The C7 lights are most commonly used during holiday seasons. They are a little larger than C6 and are more round. These lights take five to seven watts of power while the C9 lights take seven to ten watts. These are the largest of all and are most suitable for use with taller Christmas trees and large outdoor displays on roofs, walkways, outline of buildings and object. One problem with the C-series is that they are very greedy in consuming electricity. By stringing more than three strands could potentially blow a fuse. But unlike other lights, the C6, C7 and C9 bulbs still work effectively if one bulb is broken. For display, it can look very appealing from afar but not as pretty if seen by near visitors. All c-series lights are available in LED and normal glowing varieties.

4) G-series Christmas Lights!

The G-series Christmas lights seem to look rather weird for Christmas decorations. They are global-shaped lights that come in a number of different sizes. These range from 2-3 inches in diameter and are also available in both LED and normal glowing versions.

Conclusion

The festive season should be fun and enjoyable with a loving spirit. Lights can help you feel a lot of that love when winter nights get dark for many hours. Never use damaged Christmas lights or it can potentially cause a fire hazard. You don’t want to carry a memory of a fire incident that occurred in the Christmas season.
