This is my second installment in my Cheating Movies articles, the sequel to 10 Movies Where Characters Cheat on Their Partners 1: Unfaithful, Revenge, The Scarlet Letter and more.

1. A Walk on The Moon starring Diane Lane, Viggo Mortensen and Liev Schreiber

Diane Lane cheats on her husband Liev Schreiber with Viggo Mortensen. Surely enough, Viggo’s bohemian nature seems more appealing than her seemingly square husband but what happens to their family in the future?

2. A Perfect Murder starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Viggo Mortensen and Michael Douglas

Gwyneth Paltrow is married to the much older Michael Douglas and is sleeping with young, good-looking and broke artist Viggo Mortensen. When Michael finds out, he gives the lover money to kill his wife.

3. Forgetting Sarah Marshall starring Kristen Bell, Jason Segel, Mila Kunis and Russell Brand

Good-natured, romantic and sensitive musician Jason Segel has been dating popular TV actress Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell) for years. But she dumps him for the popular musician Aldous (Russell Brand). Peter goes to Hawaii to get over Sarah, but unfortunately she and Aldous are also vacationing in the same spot. And as if this were not enough, Jason’s character Peter finds out that she had been sleeping with the other guy for the last year of their relationship.

4. The Edge starring Alec Baldwin, Anthony Hopkins and Elle Macpherson

Rich businessman Anthony Hopkins is married to gorgeous model Elle Macpherson: She is really “good friends” with the photographer Alec Baldwin. The whole shooting crew, along with Hopkins, goes on a remote location. Things go fine until Alec Baldwin decides they need to go to even a more remote location to find the perfect Indian model. Alec Baldwin, Anthony Hopkins and one other guy from the crew get on a helicopter to meet their potential model. Unfortunately, their plane crashes and the three of them get stranded on a godforsaken place, in the midst of a strong winter. And as much as Alec denies having an affair with Elle, neither the audience nor Anthony believes him. As it turns out, they really were having an affair. So the dynamics get strained as the husband and the lover will have to depend on each other to survive...

5. The Other Man starring Laura Linney, Liam Neeson and Antonio Banderas

Laura Linney is supposedly happily married to Liam Neeson. However he finds out that his wife had been cheating on him with another guy; Antonio Banderas. So he goes to confront and kill him. When he does meet him, however, a weird relationship is formed.

6. Chloe starring Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson and Amanda Seyfried

Julianne Moore is married to Liam Neeson and they have a teenage son. She is an accomplished doctor and he is a professor, very popular among his students. So popular in fact, that she is convinced he is cheating. To prove he strays, she hires an expensive hooker – Amanda Seyfried. Everything Chloe (played by Amanda) tells her seems to prove her suspicions about her husband. But maybe Chloe has other plans as Julianne ends up cheating on her husband- with Chloe.

7. Playing by Heart starring Dennis Quaid, Madeleine Stowe, Sean Connery and Gena Rowlands

Here, Sean Connery has a brain tumor and his days might be limited Still, his wife Gena Rowlands can’t wait to find out the whole truth about an affair he had years ago and why. While she is trying to get to the bottom of it, Madeleine Stowe is cheating on her husband Dennis Quaid.

8. Across The Hall starring Danny Pino, Brittany Murphy and Mike Vogel

Brittany Murphy’s boyfriend (Danny Pino) is paranoid that she is cheating. His suspicions are proven when she checks into a motel, telling him that she is on a business trip. So he calls his best friend- Mike Vogel - for support. Then he gets the room across her so that he can see who she is cheating on him with so that he can possibly kill the guy. Guess who she is cheating on him with? But the twists don’t end there as this is a thriller.

9. The Painted Veil starring Edward Norton, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber

Edward Norton is a shy biologist who falls in love with the modern, outgoing and extra-social Naomi Watts. She marries him so that she can be away from her mom. She ends up going to China with her husband and having an affair with a diplomat (Liev Schreiber) she meets there. When the husband finds out, he gives her an interesting ultimatum. Either the guy will marry her as soon as they get divorced or she will be divorced as an adulteress. Her lover bails out, and she has to pick the other alternative: going to another part of China, where the cholera has peaked, with a husband who hates her..:

10. Butterfly On A Wheel starring Gerard Butler, Maria Bello and Pierce Brosnan

Gerard Butler is married to Maria Bello and they have a little daughter together. They seem to be the perfect family but when a mysterious stranger – Pierce Brosnan- kidnaps the husband and wife while his partner in crime takes their child hostage. So they don’t have any choice but to give in to their kidnapper’s every whim. However their differences and previous marital problems resurface: Gerard Butler’s character has cheated on his wife before.

Can a marriage with baggage take such pressure? And what does the kidnapper want anyway?
