Women generally talk more than men. Men who talk are always frowned upon and people often say, “You talk like a woman,” to men who talk too much. The nature of men is talk less and act more. This is why men generally talk less than women.

Do you know that men talk a lot too just like women? While it is true that women talk more than men, studies show that the difference is not remarkable. Men talk a lot too but they are less emotional than women so they could keep their problems to themselves and do not talk about it. Women on the other hand love talking to express themselves.

Why do women talk more than men? Women talk about a lot of things. Women love talking about fashion, relationships, children, friends, their hobbies, food and other things, men on the other hand talk about their job, politics, sports, money and technology but they keep their family and relationship matters to themselves.

Women talk more than men to express their emotions. Women burst out their emotions by talking in order to lessen stress. Women generally want someone to listen to them, especially their personal problems while men want to keep their personal problems to themselves. Majority of women love talking about what they did and what they want to do. They are more detailed than men in many things. They want to talk about simple things that men think are trivial things. They talk about the dress that an insect at home has ruined. They want to talk about everything they did. They want to talk about the dress that they just bought and their two-year old child who could spell dog. While men keep quiet and prefer not to say things aloud even if they are too excited about things themselves. Women express themselves through words while men express themselves through actions.

Men love to talk too but they limit their words because people generally do not like men who talk a lot. Men want to say a few words but with a lot of meaning. They express themselves more through actions rather than words.

Because women are more emotional than men, they often want others to sympathize with them that is why they tell their problems to other people. When they talk, this lessens the stress and it makes them feel more comfortable. While men could keep their problems to themselves, women generally don’t do it because their nature is to talk about their problems and let other people listen to them.
