The Delblush apple is also known as the Tentation in France. The French have this apple protected and it cannot be grown under any name without permission. It originated in 1979 and was introduced by Delbard Nursery. Harvested in October, it is a medium, oblong, conical shaped fruit that is gold with an orange blush.

Delcon

The Delcon apple is a mixture of Delicious, Jonathan, and Ben Davis apples and harvests late in the season. It is dark red in color and keeps well into the winter.

Delicious

One of the most well-known apples, the Delicious is from Iowa and is in season from September to November. It is deep red and is quite sweet.

Detroit Red

The Detroit Red is from North Georgia, is in season from late July to early August, and is a classic red apple. 

Devonshire Quarrenden

The Devonshire Quarrenden is also known as the Sack Apple and originated in 1685. Harvested in August or September, it is a shiny crimson color.

Discovery
