Two Ways to Reduce Your Chance of Breast Cancer

According to a recent article in the Hattiesburg American newspaper, “Breast Cancer Deaths High” MS has one of the lowest rates of Breast cancer in the nation but there has been an increase of breast cancer in low income African American Women. Since October is breast cancer awareness month, I’ve been reading about breast cancer a lot lately, but out of all the articles I’ve read, some important information seems to be left out of them.

The first point that is frequently left out is the fact that breast-feeding your babies significantly reduces your chances of getting breast cancer later in life. Another point that is often missing is that having had one or more abortions has been linked to higher rates of breast cancer in some studies. Though this information seems to be contested by many in the breast cancer and abortion communities, I think a look at MS. statistics may be in order.

MS has one of the lowest rates of breast cancer in the nation and there is also only one abortion clinic in the state. Being in the Bible belt, women in MS. often choose life instead of abortion. With few abortions in the state and a low breast cancer rate, could there possibly be a link? Maybe.

There is also an increase in low income African American women who have breast cancer. It has also been documented that low income African American women have the largest percentage of abortions as well. Often abortion centers are placed right in the midst of the communities with this targeted population. Planned Parenthood’s founder, Margret Sanger, was clearly racist and wanted to reduce the African American population. But in order to do it, she hired African Americans to promote abortions in their own communities to hide what the real objectives of Planned Parenthood were.

Needless to say, with the corresponding higher rates of breast cancer and women who have had abortions, could there be a link? Likely so. Maybe the link isn’t yet a proven fact, but then again, maybe for safety’s sake, it should be at least considered until it is disproved. So in closing, I would like to say that at least two ways you can likely reduce your risk of getting breast cancer are also God’s designed purpose for life. Choose life and choose to breast-feed your baby. After all, God’s way is always the best way!
