Time was when life was simpler than it is now.  Today, life has become complicated, resulting in more tensions and exhausting endeavors which exact a heavy toll on the physical, mental and psychological endurance of individual personalities.  People have to work harder and earn more so as to obtain the alluring consumer goods produced by technology and duly advertised by the media.

The following tips from the experts could help control, lessen or even prevent the possibility of being "burned out."

Light up.  Bright light stimulates the brain and keeps us alert.  A five to ten minutes stroll outdoors can do wonders for our energy levels.  Not only light keep us energized, it also put our mind in a more positive mode!  Try it!

Relax.  Follow some relaxation techniques which are easy and effective such as while breathing deeply, imagine pleasant scenarios of nature's beauty...of flowers, plants, trees, river, mountains and many others.  Doing this can bring joy and happiness to your day.  Why not take a restful vacation now and then.

Talk and write.  According to studies, talking with anyone who is willing to listen about what bothers us can be therapeutic.  Family members and friends ate good source of support and security when problems and conflicts are experienced. Writing about what causes our fatigue can also help to ease our tiredness.

Put things in order.  Paraphernalia at home and in the work place should be arranged in good order so that your view of your belonging will become more pleasant.  Leave only what is needed, throw away old stuff or give them to others or to charity.

Do things that makes you happy. Perhaps time does not permit us to do things which we enjoy, but we can always set aside a few minutes which can contribute some fun to our life by indulging with certain hobbies we are fond of.

Develop self-confidence.  Never allow others to dominate you or your plans for the day.  Have faith in your own capacities and abilities.

Use money wisely.  According to experts, control your spending by limiting it only to what is strictly necessary, because a shaky financial situation can cause stress-related headaches, muscle tension and other bodily pains.

Take a short nap.  If you don't have time for long snooze, set your alarm for a period of ten to twenty minutes; by doing this, you'll wake up before you enter a deep sleep.

Pray and meditate.  According to a famous poet, more things are brought by prayer than this world dreams of.  Lifting of our mind and heart to God in prayer can bring relaxation to our bodies.  Meditation of some sort- leaving everything in the hands of God, will loosen or lessen the tensions bothering us, let go and let God.

Apply Medicine.  Thus is the last straw to be availed of, only if it is still necessary to take the proper medicine recommended by the doctor.  Let us keep fit and overcome or prevent fatigue so that we can continue to live and still see-tomorrow.
