You need extra money. Who doesn't these days? And although earning online is not hard, there are so many scams out there that perhaps you are about to give up. There are many article writing sites, but in order to earn you need writing skills, SEO skills, and plenty of time to invest in promoting your articles. There are freelancing sites, but again, most of those are looking for top-notch writers who are perfectly fluent in English, and any other jobs they have are usually programming or website design.

So, our of desperation you turn to PTCs -- Paid to Click sites. But you quickly found that a few cents a day doesn't do it for you, and you hate waiting two months (or more!) to claim your two dollars! PTC sites nowadays are confusing -- upgrades of various levels, lengths of time, and prices, and different click rates for you and your referrals (people who join up under you) and on most sites you can RENT referrals! How can you be sure you aren't being scammed -- and can you really make more than a dollar a month?

Well yes, you can, and there are three ways to do so.

1. Sign up with a legitimate site that has been paying for years, like Wordlinx, or Clixsense, (please use SaphireScorpion as your referral should you choose to sign up) and stay on your computer all day, to get your ten dollar payout in a month or two.

2. Sign up with a site that seems legitimate -- which involves research on your part beforehand -- and plaster your links all over the internet in the hope that you will end up with many people who click every day joining under you, and you'll be pulling in dollars a day instead of a dollar a month.

3. Treat the PTC game like stocks.That's right, like stocks. You've seen those investment websites, right? And some of them are as legit as hiring a stockbroker and trading stocks. But of course those legit sites wouldn't be able to payout unless they played by the same rules as a traditional stockbroker, which means you need to invest hundreds of dollars, hold your breath, and hope you picked the right stocks. You don't have hundreds of dollars to risk, or else you wouldn't be reading this article on how to make money with PTCs.

What you need to know is that PTCs that turn into scams don't start off with some evil person thinking "I'll start a PTC, take the money from upgrades and disappear." Rather, people are trying to start legitimate businesses, thinking to make money in the long run. Unfortunately, just like any other internet business, PTCs are too easy to start. Inexperienced people who have no idea what they're doing start out with the best of intentions, pay out for a few months, and then realize they don't have enough revenue coming in to pay their members -- so they disappear.

This creates an environment exactly the same as buying stock in a company. Will this company succeed, in which case I make money, or will it die, in which case I lose money? But the investments are much smaller. With most PTC sites, a 30 dollar investment can make you 45 dollars a month -- if they stick around. That's the gamble. But a payout of 150% of your investment in a month is a great return! And, since most PTCs payout for a few months before they go bust, you WILL be able to make your investment back plus some -- if you join when the site is new, invest, and make a few cashouts before they disappear.

A little smarts, a little luck, and a small investment can have you making money from muliple sources!
