Good Health Inhibitors
EducationGood Health Inhibitors
These days good health is a major topic across the board; we are all looking for the answers to obtain it, the motivation to keep it and the explanations that define it. If you are in good health congratulations and if you’re looking to get it, you need to take control. Good health is not just about diet, it’s about understanding how and why we do things that inhibit us from having good health. The first step, is to make a conscious decision about the way we eat, how active we are and how we manage stress and sleep.
Finding a health routine that motivates us to continue for a lifetime is a major key to creating a lifestyle that produces good health. We need to learn to manage our bodies and take control of how our bodies respond, so that they can operate successfully.
We need to understand nutrients and how the lack of or an excess of nutrients can inhibit good health. With the proper balance between calories consumed and calories expended, good health is the ultimate outcome. The larger parts of calories are used to perform daily functions with the balance of calories being used to energize our bodies during physical activity.
Inhibitors
- Fast foods restaurants are listening and they are making a conscious effort to offer healthier foods for your enjoyment and your good health. You also need to make that same effort when selecting your meal. Skip the super sizing.
- Portion control or moderation of what and how much you eat is just as important as learning to estimate how many calories you are eating and how many calories you are burning. Your body uses approximately 40% of the calories consumed; the remaining balance of 60% needs to be exhausted through some form of activity. Here's a tip that may help; using a fist size per serving of meat, vegetable and fruit for each meal, it works.
- Dehydration can be one of the causes for daytime fatigue. Back to basics, H2O, two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen is the most essential element when it comes to good health even above food. You can survive longer without food than you will without water. Cocktails, coffees and flavors drinks may add calories to our daily diet; they do not provide the necessary hydration needed by our bodies.
Summary
Our bodies come complete with its own set of instructions to operate and maintain good health. Inhibitors that we choose to consume can and may interfere with the natural process that our bodies need to perform. Inhibitors can have health consequences resulting in serious health conditions that could have been prevented. According to good health journals, we should be informed, selective and active throughout our lives in order to maintain good health.
