It's easy to advise someone to give up a negative, hopeless, bitter outlook on life.  In other cases, people are so deprived of power and control over their own lives that they become bitter and resentful at a young age and stay that way says a renowned psychologist.

It's amazing how often people in ordinary circumstances take refuge in bitterness and resentment.  According to a guidance counselor, give up bitterness and resentment.  They do no good, not for you and not for anyone else.

Bitterness and resentment eat away at your soul, eroding your energy, depleting your natural reserves of talent and inspiration.  All they do is render you powerless.  Give up bitterness; it happens to everyone.  A renowned author revealed that whatever you are bitter and resentful about what happened yesterday, or last week, or years ago, forget it and move on.

Don't expect a perfect world

According to a pastor, bad things happen to good people, and good people don't like it one bit.  Someone might ask, why should such bad things happen to me?  But look, life is a mix of good and bad, happy and sad.  You have to expect that sometimes life will kick sand in your face.  So what?

A psychologist advice to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back to living.  So things isn't work out the way you hoped they would.  Our world is comprised of imperfect humans, and we are responsible for the world we "create" for ourselves.  But we do believe that the Christian life, carefully lived, is victorious, peaceful and happy.  Because we live in this imperfect world, we bear it's consequences.  Whenever there's an economic slowdown, or we experience injustice beyond our making, it's the result of someone else's sin.

A pastor explained that God provides us with a way to bear our burdens as though they were unfelt.  He said, "CAST YOUR BURDEN UPON ME, THOSE WHO ARE HEAVILY LADEN." A pastor explained this verse to us by noting that it is all about surrender.  We don't try to bear our problems through our own power and strength.  We surrender our problems to God and ask him to take charge.  Our problem, are overcome by His power, not our own.  BY surrendering , God gives us His burden, which is easy and light.  Our rest is found not in our efforts, but in our surrender.

According to a religious authorities, it's not a perfect world, in fact according to him, after he became a Christian, his problem go worse.  The difference was, he was able to bear them with barely any effort.  In the past, he easily broke down over the slightest thing... he revealed.

Give up bitterness and resentment for it will nourish your soul.
