Producing a movie is a costly effort that can be very time-consuming, especially if the project is a more on the independent side, rather than being an action-packed adventure – be it a comic book adaptation, a sequel or something along that nature.

The Resident starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilary Swank

This is the second time Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilary Swank will be starring in a movie together. They first shared screen time in the romantic drama P.S.I Love You, where the male lead was Gerard Butler.

Here, Hilary Swank plays a doctor who will be disturbed by her landlord, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The movie also features Lee Pace.

Morgan has been talking about the movie in his interviews for ages, but it is yet to see a release date. The genre is drama/thriller.

Coriolanus starring Ralph Fiennes and Gerard Butler

Coriolanus is an epic drama/thriller, based on the play by William Shakespeare and directed by actor Ralph Fiennes. The movie was written by John Logan.

Ralph Fiennes stars as the title character and Gerard Butler plays Tullus Aufidius. The movie also stars Vanessa Redgrave and Brian Cox.

The Beaver starring Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster

The Beaver was written by Kyle Killen and directed by Jodie Foster. It is a comedy/drama starring Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster.

Jodie Foster previously directed an episode for a TV series, drama Little Man Tate and Home for the Holidays.

Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson have been good friends since they starred together in the western/adventure/comedy Maverick (movie adaptation of the TV-series Maverick) in 1994. They also happen to be two of the most successful actor/directors in Hollywood.

The Beaver tells the story of a man who treats his beaver puppet as a living creature. There have been rumors that the release date of the movie was delayed due to Mel Gibson’s recent not-so-decent media coverage.

Burns starring Gerard Butler

Burns tells the story of the famous Scottish poet/lyricist Robert Burns (1759-1796), starring Scottish actor Gerard Butler as Burns. Gerard Butler had been talking about this project way before his 2009 movies Gamer, The Ugly Truth and Law Abiding Citizen came out.

The director is Vadim John. Burns was written by Alan Sharp.
