Dieticians define metabolism as the process by which a substance is handled in the body.  Medical experts share five easy ways to increase your metabolism:

1) Breakfast important.  According to nutritionist, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Skipping your breakfast can lead to serious health problems beside adding those extra pounds as a results of bringing on unhealthy snacks later in the day.  Besides recharging your energy levels, eating and regular breakfast has a several long-term benefits.  Healthy experts cited that breakfast give more nutrients in your body and sets your mood right and enables you to handle stress better.  Breakfast rich in fiber food, and whole grain help keep the heart healthy, especially if you suffer from metabolic disorders like fluctuating blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity they added. Your breakfast should include complex carbohydrates like whole grain with protein and low fat milk.

2) Eat more often.  Eating frequently, stabilizes blood sugar.  Get into the habit of eating every three or four hours, or at least four times a day.  The body tends to slow the effect of energy and causes difficulty maintaining your weight loss efforts when you go many hours without eating.

           

3) A good snack.  When feeling tired many take a quick snack for energy.  But do not confuse a certain fatigue with energy.  According to experts, if you are tired, walk fifteen to twenty minutes.  The effect of this will increase your heart rate and give you an energy boost; follow with a full glass of cold water. If you're really hungry, have a protein-rich complex carbohydrates as a snack.  Wheat crackers with peanut butters or cheese will do.

4) How to get a healthy diet.  If you rarely eat or eating too little slows your body's metabolism.  If you want to lose weight, don't cut calories too drastically.  Instead, cut some of the extras in food such as fruit juices, soft drinks and packaged products as well as processed foods. Eat protein at every meal.  Research shows that eating more protein can help you lose weight without cutting calories.  Since it takes more time and energy to digest protein and helps reduce your appetite.

5) Healthy protein meals.  Try to eat fruits and vegetables each day.  Begin your day with an apple.  Apple's pectin cleanses the body's digestive system by removing toxins and therefore preventing degenerative health problems such as cancer.  Peas and soybeans in the diet seems to reduce breast cancer.  According to researchers eat onions to reduce your risk for any bone disease.  They added that onions makes the bone strong by preventing a process known as resorption.  It is characterized by the seeping of calcium from bones.  Resorption is particularly common among those suffering from osteoporosis.
