Evolution of Human Kind?

The Theory of Evolution is all about the survival of the fittest, or in other words the strongest of the species will live, while the weakest of the species will die out over time. Then the best selections which are left, will eventually become better and better. Well, it seems to me that human beings can’t have evolved much, because there are still a bunch of us weaklings around, and we have certainly not become the perfect human beings we’ve been predicted to become. And when the strong do assert themselves over someone who is weaker than themselves, it has usually been frowned upon in most of human society. We generally lock up those who abuse others, along with murdererss and rapists. If the theory of evolution were correct, then we would be nothing more than amoral animals, and the strong would prey on the weak, eventually making the weak die out.

As far as natural selection is concerned, we don’t always choose the strongest, or the best looking for our mates, but some of us are wise enough to look a little deeper. Sometimes we choose the more intelligent, the funny, the compassionate, or any number of things that may attract us to someone. Maybe that’s because we need more than just strength to survive this world; we need intelligence; we need humor; we need compassion. And yes, we need faith and God!

Well, I do realize there are some people who consider themselves to be mere amoral animals out there that would like to get rid of all the weak, euthanizing all the sick and elderly, killing all the unwanted, disabled or mentally deficient in the womb, etc., but the majority of us are not without morals and believe that all life is a precious gift of God. So we have put laws in effect that keeps this sort of thing from happening. But those laws are being systematically ignored and changed rapidly, and we will quickly become that amoral animalistic society that the evolutionists want us to become: Every man for himself, the survival of the fittest, dog eat dog. This is a scary thought!

Men would prey on weaker men, women, and children. Women would prey on weak men, weaker women, and children. And children would prey on weaker and smaller children. A lot of this goes on right now, but we have rules and laws in place to control the outright loss of self-control for most of society, as we do value our freedom, probably more than strength. But as the rules and laws change, becoming looser and looser in their interpretations, what will keep us from losing self-control will not be our physical strength, but our inner strength.

What keeps us from aborting when the doctor tells us the baby probably won’t live anyway? What keeps us from taking food and water from a loved one, when the doctor encourages us to just let them go? What keeps us from taking away needed antibiotics, and pumping the pain medication button until we overdose them to death? What draws the line between just letting them go and pushing them over the edge? Our moral integrity as created creatures of God is what keeps us from going there. Our strength of moral integrity is what will save us from ourselves, and that does not come to us without the saving strength of God Almighty. And You may ask, “What about those without God?” Well they likely don’t have this kind of moral integrity and will not have a problem participating in these kinds of events.

When we “play God” and take control of situations and people that we should have no control over, we are setting ourselves up for failure as a human society, not progress. Scientist have not only perfected in vitro-fertilization so much, and now have successfully cloned human sperm, which means men will be pretty much obsolete. Sperm banks are now selling celebrity look alike sperm. You can choose which celebrity you want your child to resemble. What will be next?

We are now taking egg cells from aborted fetuses and using them to create embryos. We kill one to make one. And if one were to be successfully implanted and develop to birth, we’d have a baby born of a baby that was never born. Where does it all stop? Before it’s over with, we will have manufactured children, and we will be getting rid of everyone over 30 years old as in the old movie, Logan’s Run.  Our children will never experience what it means to have a grandparent. If evolution were true, wouldn’t things be getting better, rather than deteriorating to this sad state? Moral integrity doesn’t just evolve in humanity to make a better and better people, it’s a gift of God.
