EducationCheap And Effective Ways To Have A Clean Home
With today's economy everyone is always looking for ways to save, especially when it concerns your home and there is no better way to save then by using the products you already have rather then going out and buying pricey products.
I'm sure all of us have laundry detergent (laundry powder) as most of us have dirty clothing. Laundry detergent is actually an effective way to clean the burnt food off of pots and pans! All you have to do it add some of it to your burnt pots or pans with some water and place on the stove and boil. The burnt food will magically float off, allowing you to just rinse andwipe clean. For cookie sheets and larger pans simply sprinkle a bit on, boil up some water in the kettle andthen pour the boiling water on the pan. It works just as well as if you hadboiled on the stove. By using this method you not only get your pots and pans clean but it also gives your home a lovely fresh smell. Just make sure you remove all remnants of the laundry powder as this could be very harmful to your health. This really is a great cleaner that works wonderfully and I would recommend this to anyone!
Another way laundry powder can be used is by freshing your carpets and rugs. Sprinkle some of it on your carpets and rugs and leave for ten minutes. When left to set it will give your room a lovely fresh aroma and not only does it do this but each time you use your vacuum cleaner it will giveoff a lovelyscentjust by turning it on.
Laundry powder is also an effective and cheap way to clean your barbecue. Just soak overnight in laundry detergent and rinse well in morning, again making sure you remove all remnants of the powder as it can be very harmful to your health. Once done you will not want to use any other cleaner as this cleaner removes all grease and dried up food off your barbecue without having to scrub and scape!
If you run out of fabric softener sheets for your dryer or you simply want to save money a great way to do this is by buying a liquid fabric softener. Not only is it cheaper but it will go a lot further. Just take a half to a full cap full of the liquid softener and pour it over a dry clean cloth. Place cloth in the dryer with wet clothing and do thecycle as normal.
An effective way to clean steel is with baby oil. Smear a small amount of baby oil onto a cloth and rub it over the area you want cleaned such as taps, sink, kettle, toaster etc..... Afterwards take a another clean dry cloth and buff. This will make your steel sparkle and shine!
To freshen your microwave add a few drops of lemon after cleaning and microwave for 15-20 seconds. This takes away any unwanted smells from your microwave and freshens.
To clean dirt from your hands rub some lemon juice into them around the nails, then some soap. After rinsing you will find that you have both clean and soft hands.
Trying to remove stickers and labels from something can be one of the most tedious things to do in a house. To remove them easily and quickly add some nail polish remover to a tissue and rub clean. This is very effective way to remove the glue from stickers and labels, however; you should always test a small area first as you do not want to remove any paint.
If you run out of shoe polish and you want to buff your shoes use a banana. Just take banana and rub over shoes. Afterwards take a clean cloth and wipe free of all dirt and remnants. This works like a charm!
If out in the garden with a good pair of shoes make sure you cover your shoes with a plastic bag. This will keep both your shoes and the floor clean.
