All these beautiful landmark towers are located in Tennessee. Some of them are open to the public and have observation decks offering fantastic views to visitors. Other towers in Tennesssee house carillons or collections of bells which can be heard for long distances. So some of these towers can be heard and all of them can be seen from great distances as landmarks in Tennessee.
Clock Tower at Union Station in Nashville
Union Station is located at 1001 Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee and this magnificent looking building built in 1900 includes a beautiful clock tower. Originally a railroad terminal today Union Station is a Wyndham Historic Hotel called the Union Station Hotel.
Shapard Tower at All Saints Chapel in Sewanee

Shapard Tower is located on the south side of the All Saints Chapel on University Ave on the campus of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Shapard tower is 134 feet high and houses the 156 bell Leonidas Polk Memorial Carillon. The tower was modeled after the tower at Saint Mary the Virgin which is the university church of Oxford in England.

The Breslin Tower is located on the campus of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee at 735 University Ave at the corner of University and Georgia Avenues. The Breslin Tower was built in 1886 and modeled after the Magdalen Tower at Oxford University in England. It contains a clock and eight bells that were cast in London by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry with the largest Breslin bell weighing 1,225 pounds and called "The Tenor".
Cumberland Homesteads Tower in Crossville

The Cumberland Homesteads Tower is located 4 miles south of Crossville at the junctions of Highways 127S and 68 in central-eastern Tennessee west of Knoxville. The Cumberland Homesteads Tower was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937-1938 to house the Cumberland Homesteads offices. Today the tower houses the Cumberland Homesteads Tower Museum which is open to the public and visitors can climb the 97 steps in the tower to the top for views of the surrounding area.
Eiffel Tower in Paris, Tennessee

Located in Memorial Park in Paris, Tennessee is a 60 foot high 20 to 1 reproduction of the original Eiffel Tower located in Paris, France. The Tennessee Eiffel Tower was built in 1990 by engineering students at Christian Brothers University in Memphis to commemorate the Memphis in May festival honoring France that year. The tower was then donated by Christian Brothers University to the city of Paris, Tennessee and moved to its present home in 1992 and dedicated in early 1993.
Gatlinburg Space Needle in Gatlinburg

The Gatlinburg Space Needle is a 407 foot tall observation tower located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Visitors can ride to the top of the tower by elevator and see fantastic views of the city and the Great Smoky Mountains from the 360 degree observation deck.
The Sunsphere in Knoxville

The Sunsphere is a 266 foot high steel tower with a 75 foot high gold glass sphere on top located in the capital city of Knoxville, Tennessee. The Sunsphere was built for the 1982 World's Fair held in Knoxville. Today the Sunsphere is open to the public with observation decks and restaurants.

The Allen Bell Tower is a carillon tower that stands 577 feet high and is located on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. This carillon tower contains 35 bells.
Belmont University Bell Tower in Nashville

Also located in Nashville is the Belmont University Bell Tower on the campus of Belmont University. The so called Singing Tower was built around 1853 and in 1928 a carillon of 23 bells was added to the tower making it the first carillon tower in Tennessee. The current carillon was installed in 1986.
