EducationBack To Basics - Water Can Cure Health Problems
"Drink 8 glasses of water a day."
This health tip has been hammered into your psyche over the years for many reasons. Basically, your body needs water to keep your liquid systems operating at full capacity. Fresh clean water flushes impurities out of your body. Stagnant body fluids concentrate impurities, chemicals, and waste products slowly poisoning your systems until health problems become apparent.
Water And Dieting
What is perceived as hunger may not be the case. Drink a glass of water. Your body will naturally adjust its liquid balance. Models have used water to fill their bellies in lieu of food as long as there have been models. Water is a free diet aid that is good for you. As your body uses up the fat stored, the water you drink will help remove impurities that were stored, too.
Water And Wrinkles
Your skin requires water to plump skin cells. Not enough water in the body shows up first in the face. Healthy color fades. Little wrinkles start appearing around the eyes, nose, and mouth. The longer the body goes without adequate water, the more pronounced the effects on the skin. Drink your water to cure those wrinkles.
Water And Headaches
If you suffer from daily headaches, there is a good chance your body needs water. Many times the aspirin swallowed with a glass of water is not the cure. It is the water.
Overnight your body has been deprived of fresh water for an eight hour stretch. Heating your home has also dried you out. When you get up, you further deplete your body by urinating. You have your morning coffee which acts as a diuretic. By the time you get to work you have a headache and a major health problem. You need water not pills. Try drinking a full glass of water first thing in the morning.
Water And Urination
Your urine is a gage of your body's liquid health. Color and clarity determine proper functions of circulatory systems like lymph, blood, stomach, kidneys, and intestines. Strong color, odor, and cloudiness may simply be signs of not enough water to cleanse the systems. Water may be the cure. If these symptoms persist, see your doctor.
Water And Constipation
At some time in your life, your body settles into a routine just like your eating habits. For many of us our "daily constitution " (defecation) occurs at a regular time everyday. Intake dictates output. A healthy diet puts a balance of needed nutrients and fiber into the body to feed our systems. Sometimes constipation occurs. Evacuation is essential to restoring the body's systems and preventing associated health problems. The longer it stays, the harder it is to get rid of. Back up in the intestines poisons the body by allowing unwanted wastes to linger and cause serious health problems. The uncomfortable feelings need to go away. Before reaching for the laxatives, drink a large glass of water or two and see if this cures the problem. Hard stools occur because of inadequate moisture content. The longer they remain in the system, the more moisture is leached out by the intestine walls. Drink your water and get some exercise to move everything along.
Water And Exercise
Before embarking on an exercise regime, your body needs to be hydrated with water. Perspiration will deplete the body of water quickly as it attempts to cool itself off during strenuous activity to avoid heat stroke. Water is essential to carry nutrients to your muscles and waste products from the "burn" back out. Lack of water will cause cramps and possible health problems. Cramping will stop you from performing an activity your body is not properly equipped to handle. Drink your water and decide for yourself which health problems plaguing you water can cure.
