Water is the most abundant liquid on earth. Chemist describe it as one major factor why life exist on this earth. We need water to take a bath, wash our dishes, water our plants as well as our surroundings. Studies show that water is exactly what the body needs to carry out the chemical reactions for all it's life processes. Chemist states that the body is normally seventy percent water by weight and it is essential of all body cells. You could not even utilize the oxygen you breathe if your lungs were not moistened. You could not swallow, blink your eyes, or even speak without water.

According to a famous pathologist your heart pumps approximately two thousand liters of blood through your kidneys every twenty-four hours. Most of this blood nourishes the kidneys, adrenals, and surroundings tissues. Your kidney conserve the precious fluid, using only what is necessary to carry away waste materials. When you exercise and perspire, the pituitary gland release an anti diuretic chemical, which restricts the amount of urine formed. Furthermore, if your urine may be darker in color it is a signal for you to drink more water.

A famous nutritionist cited that between sixty percent and seventy percent of the body is water; it helps the body regulate temperature control, transport and absorb nutrients, and eliminate waste. She believes that excessive sweating through extreme heat, exercise or sports will shut down our thirst mechanism with slight imbalances. It may lead to a serious problem, mild to moderate dehydration but is reversible by increasing your daily fluid intake. She agreed that drinking six to eight glasses of fluid every day is essential for proper hydration.

If you're counting on exercise to help control of your weight, drink water during your workouts, not fruit juices. You should drink a cup of fluid twenty minutes during your workout. Plain water is best for hydration during and after exercise. Don't go for a cup of fruit, studies show that it contains anywhere from ninety to one-hundred eighty calories - about the number of calories you'll burn during twenty minutes of moderate exercise. Drink water instead because it has a zero calories, no preservatives and no artificial sugar.

Dietician revealed that all kinds of beverages, fruits and vegetables count but it's plain calorie-free, inexpensive and readily available water that provides the best source. Concentrate on water because unlike other fluids, it has either caffeine- which stimulates the urinary process and cause more fluid loss; it has no added sugars which add empty calories to the diet. According to research most beverages increase acid secretion in the stomach. Cola drinks contain phosphorus, a chemical which tends to deplete the body's calcium supplies and contribute to osteoporosis. Chemicals in diet drinks including flavorings, preservatives and coloring irritate the stomach lining. For healthy weight loss, plain water on the other hand, goes right through the stomach whether or not food is present. It requires no processing and no digesting.

Next time you get the urge to munch, grab a glass of water before reaching for a snack. Studies show that people sometimes crave food when it's actually water their bodies need. So when you drink water you feel full and you'll no longer crave for snacks and no doubt it will help weight loss.
