Compared to other security solutions PC Tools IS 2011 is quite the odd one out, this software is very memory consuming and your computer will definitely run slower after installing PC Tools IS 2011, but what you'll get as soon as you've installed the software, is a nice security solution with exceptionally good real time protection. Apart from that PC Tools Internet Security will make sure you won't visit (most) dangerous websites, it also makes sure their aren't any dangerous websites being loaded without you knowing (or seeing). As was already said their real time protections is, indeed, excellent, but their on demand scanning process (full scan) is rather slow and flags a lot of safe files as dangerous. But hey, that's why they have also included something they call an "intelli scan", this type of scan is much faster than scans from other security solutions and although it is so fast it still finds a lot of threats. PC Tools is also regularly updated and supplies the user with info about the threats it finds.

Reading this review you might think PC Tools is the perfect security solution, but that's not true at all, it has a lot of flaws and because of that I do not advise you to use PC Tool's Internet Security 2011 solution. A few negative factors are:

PC Tools IS 2011 consumes an awful lot of memory, and you should definitely not use this on a slower machine.
PC Tools IS 2011 tends to find a lot of false positives (however this is the case with most security solutions).
There are (much) better security products on the market.
Full scan takes far too long.

Overall, you should try out the free 30 day trial on their site and see if you like the product, because it is most definitely worth to check it out, but to use it permanently? I do have my doubts about that.
