Review of Valuedopinions.com: a Generous Paid Survey Website
EducationReview of Valuedopinions.com: a Generous Paid Survey Website
Valued Opinions is an online paid survey panel, which is a member of the World Association of Market Research Professionals and a company partner of the Market Research Society. As every Valued Opinions experience is different in each country the review I’m writing is about Valued Opinions panel in the UK.
Sign up:
The membership is free for people over 16 years old and it’s easy to join. To sign up you need to provide your personal information, such as your name, address, birthday and proffered language, etc. Once registered, you will receive an activation email. Then you click on the link to confirm your registration and activate your account. You also need to fill in a profile about you that is not mandatory but will likely give you more chance to get their invitations for paid surveys.
The surveys:
Same as most market research companies Valued Opinions has a wide range of survey topics that could cover everything in your daily life from toys to games or from financial products to TV programmes. The surveys rewards are calculated in pounds and pence. In general the invitation email will tell you the survey category, survey length and incentives. And you need to answer some screening questions to see if you are qualified for their surveys or not.
Typically the survey length is between 10 to 20 minutes. Depending on the survey length the rewards start from £0.50 to £2.00, or even more. If you are not qualified for the full survey you will get a quarterly prize draw.
The Payment:
Once your earnings reach £10.00 you can redeem for a range of retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, etc. You can also donate your rewards to a particular charity. Then Valued Opinions will send you a confirmation email about your request. Usually it would take 28 days to complete. However if you redeem for Amazon e-voucher you can get paid immediately.
What I like?
I joined valuedopinions.co.uk two years ago and it is one of my highly ranked survey panels.
First, the webpage is well designed and easily navigated. Whenever I click on any items, I am very quickly taken to my requested page.
Second, compared to most online panels the survey rewards are very appropriate. I was once paid £19 for a 30 minutes survey.
Third, there are many surveys to participate and the threshold is relatively easy to achieve. On average I can receive 3 or 4 survey invitations weekly and complete most of them. I redeem my earnings for M & S voucher every two months and generally receive them within 28 days of redemption.
What I dislike?
The only criticism I have is the redemption option. To be honest the reward choices are quite limited. If Valued Opinions can add cheque or PayPal as an option to receive payment I think I would more like the website.
Conclusion:
All in all valuedopinions.com is a trustworthy and well–paid survey website. I would like to recommend Valued Opinions to people who want to make some extra pennies for their free time.
