Like human beings, many animals have also unusual and peculiar behaviors and traits. There are animals that act as human beings by using gadgets and tools. There are also gay animals just like humans. There are also occurrences of prostitution in the animal word. These things sounds bizarre but they do really exist.
1. Pygmy Marmoset, known as the smallest monkey in the world, doesn’t feed on bananas but feeds on tree gum. Included on its diet are insects and arachnids.

2. Hedgehog is a weird eater, it feeds on turpentine. It even feeds on cigarette butts/puss and spread them, on its spines.

3. Mole Rats are unusually peculiar underground creatures. They live in 2 kilometer long tunnels and are nearly blind. They live their lives in total darkness.

4. A Honey Badger attacks bees and eats honey. The animal is protected by thick fur which he uses also to scare away larger animals. A Honey Badger also kills and eats venomous snake without getting killed.

5. A Darwin’s Frog may looks like just an ordinary frog species but it is one of the most bizarre frogs in the world. This amphibian’s vocal sac serves as home for its baby frogs.

6. A Burying Beetle feeds on dead rodents in the most peculiar way. It buries the corpse of a dead rodent such as shrew and mouse then emits chemical to prevent the dead body from decaying, thus, assuring itself a food supply for a longer period of time.

7. The Aye-aye of Madagascar are not just regarded as one of the freakiest-looking animals in the world but also possesses a great skill in hunting foods that live in dead trees. This creature uses a multi-purpose finger to detect and capture creatures for food such as worm inside dead trees.

8. Aside from its ability t change color, a Chameleon’s tongue is one of the most prolific in the world. It uses its tongue in capturing insects for consumption and it can attain an amazing speed of 1600 m/s. This creature can also rotate its eyes independently at 180°.
9. Not all animal wastes, including humans, are bad and useless. The dung of Hippopotamuses is among the most nutritive and is eaten by catfish. In addition, Hippo babies are born underwater.

10. Proboscis Monkeys are animals notable for their large and elongated noses. Males are twice as heavy as females.
