Many people who tend to have oily hair are those who have more hair on their scalps. This is because more hair brings in extra oil glands which produce the extra oil. Thus, this leads to greasy hair.
1) Astringent!
Cleaning excess oil from hair can be an easy task with homemade astringent. To make your own astringent, just mix some mouthwash and witch hazel together with cotton wool. Carefully, use the astringent on your scalp only without harming your hair as this it could damage the hair if there is too much contact. Whenever you find your hair becoming very oily, just use this treatment and find your hair
2) Lemon with Water!
Another good option to reduce an oily scalp is to mix 2 lemons with water. This is one of the easiest and most helpful ways to keep hair looking less oily!
3) Vinegar with hair!
Yes it may sound awkward but naturally, vinegar is a powerful ingredient which can not only help oily hair, but can also be used as a cleaning product. However, vinegar may not smell as good as lemon, but it sure can work as a good oil removal. For good results, use two tablespoons of vinegar mixed with one cupful of water. This helps clear any soap from the scalp which causes oily hair to be weighed down.
4) Create a shampoo!
Creating a shampoo yourself is very easy. Just combine your regular shampoo with a few extra ingredients that can help oily hair. Mix a teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel with a tablespoon of lemon juice into a cup of your regular shampoo. While using it, blend it into your hair and rinse. Use everyday day within a week. Keep the shampoo stored in the fridge for a longer lifetime.
5) Baby powder!
Baby powder is a great alternative to clean and soak up in oily in the scalp. Just comb your hair followed by a sprinkle of baby powder.
