Composition-
Per 3.5 g of Calmoseptine ointment - 555.7 mg of Zinc oxide, 164.5 mg of calamine, Sodium bicarbonate, menthol, phenol, thymol, chlorothymol, lanolin and glycerin.
General information
Each sachet of 3.5 g of Calmoseptine ointment contains- 555.7 mg of Zinc oxide, 164.5 mg of calamine, Sodium bicarbonate, menthol, phenol, thymol, chlorothymol, lanolin and glycerin in an appropriate ointment base.
Calmoseptine ointment has a fine balanced combination of numerous active compounds, and has a non-flaky, non-messy base that combines into the skin efficiently like cream while working as a skin guard.
Calmoseptine indications
Guards, pacifies and aids promote curing of damaged skin veracity associated to: Feeding tube region outflow; wound depletion , parastomal and peristomal skin irritations); bedsores, fecal and urinary incontinence; ileostomy, ileoanal reservoirs, urostomy; moisture for example- perspiration; fungal infections, impetigo, eczema; acne, scrapes; diaper rash (children as well as adults); burns (chemical, flame, radiation); insect bites; fistula, excoriation, fissures; outer hemorrhoid, colonoscopy; roughness, chapping of skin; vaginal irritation and rectal itchiness; fungal infections; itchy heat.

Dosage and administration
Wash skin, and stroke it dry before applying Calmoseptine 2 to 4 times every day or as needed to support comfort along with protection.
Drug interactions
Do not use additional skin creams on the same management region with menthol and zinc oxide, except if your physician has prescribedyou to.
It is not expected that other medicines you use orally or infuse will have any adverse reactions on topically used menthol and zinc oxide. But a lot of medicines can inter react with one other. Let your medical doctor with reference to all your medicines and OTC drugs, minerals, vitamins, herbal supplements, and medicines approved by other physicians. Avoid using other drugs without prior consulting with your doctor.
Overdose
Look for urgent medical help if you believe you have administered a large amount of this drug, or if somebody has unintentionally consumed it.
Storage
Keep it in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, heat or moisture. Preferably keep it at room temparature between 20 to 25 degree celcius.
Keep it safely out of reach of children.
