Westminster Castle in Colorado
Westminster Castle in Colorado is located at 3455 West 83rd Ave in Westminster. Built in Richardsonian Romanesque architectural style in 1892 by Henry T. Mayhem from New York as the centerpiece of a Presbyterian University the Westminster Castle building is also called the Big Red Castle. Westminster Castle in Colorado was purchased by the Pillar of Fire Church in 1920 and is run as Westminster University today. Westminster Castle is open to the public for special occasions and events during the year.
Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun Castle in Colorado Springs
Located at 4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road on top of Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado is the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun Castle. Built from 1934-1937 by Spencer Penrose the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun Castle was actually built as a tomb for Penrose but he named the castle after Will Rogers when Rogers died in a 1935 plane crash. The Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun Castle is a popular tourist attraction in Colorado Springs and at an 8,136 foot elevation offers visitors spectacular views of the city and the Garden of the Gods down below.
Colorado National Guard Armory Castle in Golden
The Colorado National Guard Armory Castle was built from 1913 to 1914 and is located in Golden, Colorado.
Bishop Castle in Custer, Colorado
Located along Highway 165 or Greenhorn Highway in San Isabel National Forest in Custer, Colorado is the weird and wacky Bishop Castle. Started in 1969 by owner Jim Bishop who started putting rocks around the home he was building on the site and then built a castle when his neighbors suggested the rocks he was putting up resembled a castle. Today Bishop Castle is a fun and popular tourist attraction in Colorado. Admission to the castle is free with donations gladly accepted.
Glen Eyrie Castle in Colorado Springs
Located at 3820 North 30th Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado is beautiful Glen Eyrie Castle. The huge 67 room English Tudor style Glen Eyrie Castle was built in 1871 by millionaire General William Jackson Palmer who was the founder of the city of Colorado Springs. Today Glen Eyrie Castle is owned by the Christian group The Navigators and is open to the public for tours and also available to be rented out for retreats, conferences, weddings and special events.
Cano's Castle in Antonito, Colorado
Cano's Castle is the creation of artist Donald "Cano" Espinoza and is located in Antonito, Colorado.
Miramont Castle in Manitou Springs
Located at 9 Capital Hill Ave in Manitou Springs, Colorado is the Miramont Castle. Built in 1895-1896 by French born Catholic priest Father Jean Baptist Francolon as a home for the Montcalme Sanatarium. Today Miramont Castle is owned by the Manitou Springs Historical Society and run as a very popular tourist attraction museum featuring 42 rooms and the castle is reportedly haunted.

Located at 404 Manitou Ave in Manitou Springs, Colorado is the Briarhurst Manor Castle. Built in 1886 by Dr William Bell Briarhurst Manor Castle was an extremely popular health resort for the rich and famous in the late 1800's. Today Briarhurst Manor Castle is a restaurant, special events and wedding facility.

The Macky Auditorium Castle is located on the campus of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Built from 1910-1923 the Macky Auditorium Castle is named for Andrew J. Macky who donated the funds for the castle's construction.
Cherokee Castle in Sedalia
Located at 6113 Daniels Park Road in Sedalia, Colorado is the Cherokee Castle. Built from 1924-1926 by millionaire Carl Johnson today the Cherokee Castle is a tourist attraction and special events and wedding facility that is open to the public for tours.
Dunafon Castle in Idledale, Colorado
Dunafon Castle is located at 24020 Highway 74 in Idledale, Colorado about 15 miles west of Denver. Completed in 1941 Dunafon Castle today is a residential home but is also available to be rented out for charity benefits, corporate events, parties and weddings.
