Having high or low blood pressure is not a disease, it is an indication of a health disorder or ailment. Acupressure therapy help get relief and cure for the blood pressure. As the acupressure therapy is applied to the points which may be cause for high or low blood pressure, you get relief from blood pressure.

Blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance to blood flow in your arteries. Blood pressure results from two forces. One is created by the heart as it pumps blood into the arteries and through the circulatory system. The other is the force of the arteries as they resist the blood flow.

What do blood pressure numbers indicate?

The higher (systolic) number represents the pressure while the heart contracts to pump blood to the body.

The lower (diastolic) number represents the pressure when the heart relaxes between beats.

Having high blood pressure is called hypertension.

Low blood pressure is sometimes referred to as hypotension and typically describes blood pressures of 90/60mmHg, or below.  An important cause of low blood pressure is orthostatic hypotension, which is sometimes referred to as postural hypotension. This happens when blood pressure drops rapidly during changes to body position--usually when changing from sitting to standing--inducing classic signs that the blood pressure is too low, like dizziness, blurry vision, and fainting.
