Runescape: Red Chinchompa
EducationRunescape: Red Chinchompa
Runescape boasts Hunter as one of the most fastest resource skills to train. Hunter is commonly trained by Runescape players because of its uniqueness. Hunter is also one of the most profitable skills to train in Runescape, however you have to be prepared with the amount of clicks you need to train this Runescape skill.
Upon reaching 80 Hunter on Runescape you have now the ability to Hunt Red Chinchompas, if you aren't level 80 yet I suggest you read my other guide. It is very hard to hunt Red Chinchompas as soon as you gain the ability to do so beause the success of rate of hunting red chinchompas is very low even in Runescape's standards.
It is possible to obtain a reasonable amount of experience as well as cash from hunting Red Chinchompa or Carnivorous chinchompa on Runescape. To start hunting these on Runescape the fast way, you should get 80 Hunter. The method used here needs concentration, it is not applicable on AFK.
This is what a Red Chinchompa or Carnivorous Chinchompa would look like, it is however small in Runescape

Next you should get the following equipment
1. Spined Larupia Hat
2. Spined Larupia Top
3. Spined Larupia Legs
4. Box Trap (you will need lots of these as you can lose box traps due to extreme Runescape lag)
5. Any bow that you have the Ranged Level to use
6. Ava’s Accumulator (Optional if you want to save arrows)
7. Some arrows

The encircled spot in the picture is where you should hunt. To maximise the efficiency of the method we are going to use a crowded world preferably 1750 Runescape players or more. Once you have reached the said area you should immediately kill the red chinchompa, and by doing so you will find where the spawning spot of the red chinchompa you just killed. Once you have found that spot where the red chinchompa spawns encircle that spot with traps.
Now here is how you should lay out the traps:
Trap 1 Trap 2 Trap 3
Trap 4 Spawn Trap 5
This lay out is the most efficient way to catch and hunt Red Chinchompas
The box traps must be laid and the red chinchompa stands for the spawn spot. I will label the first box trap from the lower left 5, above that will be 4, beside number 4 will be number 3, and beside number 3 is 2, and below number 2 is 1. Remembering the old fashion way of hunting these you only dismantle a trap when there is a red chinchompa in it but we will be doing something more harder. Here are the steps
1. Lay Number 1
2. Lay Number 2
3. Lay Number 3
4. Lay Number 4
5. Lay Number 5
6. Dismantle or Check Number 1
7. Lay Number 1
8. Dismantle or Check Number 2
9. Lay Number 2
10. Dismantle or Check Number 3
11. Lay Number 3
12. Dismantle or Check Number 4
13. Lay Number 4
14. Dismantle or Check Number 5
15. Lay Number 5
16. Repeat Steps 6-15.
Checking the box trap means you have successully hunted the Red Chinchompa, Dismantling the box trap means you have failed to have hunt the red chinchompa.
Tips:
Whenever a red chinchompa is far away from his spawn spot you should kill it with your bow and arrow. It is very hard to hunt if the red chinchompa is far from the box trap.
Hunting Red Chinchompas this way has a significant advantage than the commonly used method but be prepared of the amount of concentration you need. This method will reward you a greater amount of Red Chinchompas caught in an hour, which means more experience per hour. Synchronisation is very important in hunting red chinchompas, once you have a perfect synchronisation you should catch about 400-450 red chinchompas in an hour which translates to 100k-120k experience per hour, 50k more xp better than the average method. Red Chinchompas will enter your box trap as soon as they spawn.
Due to the increase of bots in Runescape, it is recommended to world hop when a bot steals your red chincompa spot, however there is also a method on stopping bots.
Wearing Full Larupia Gear as well as using a lit torch will help you hunt Red Chinchompas as it allows you to camoflauge yourself. An Artic Bear is a very useful familiar, it is a familiar obtained when you have achieved a good Summoning Level in Runescape. These are small investments in Runescape compared to the overall profit you obtain.
To do so, you can plant a flower or even lay a trap on the spot where the bot is attempting to lay his trap, you could see that he will attempt to do so, yet he can't because your trap is laid on his spot. This would certainly meddle all Runescape bots when they are hunting. Bots are impossible to completely destroy in Runescape so you should either choose a different Runescape world.
