Hulu offers various subscription plans. $5.99 a month gives you access to the full library of Hulu content, but includes ads. It's $11.99 a month for Hulu without ads. You can also add live TV for a total cost of $44.99 a month and the version with no ads and live TV is $50.99 a month.
Netflix offers three tiers of subscriptions. Basic is $8.99 which gives you SD picture quality and the ability to watch on 1 screen at a time. Standard is $12.99 gives you HD video quality and you can now watch on 2 screens at a time. Premium is $15.99 and gives you 4L video quality and the ability to watch on 4 screens at a time.
For the price point and the variety of content, I really think Hulu is the best bang for your buck. You get access to a great back catalog of movies and tv, plus access to a lot of the current TV airing on the day after the air. The one downside of Hulu is that you can only watch on 1 screen and the only way to get access to multiple screens is to purchase its live TV option. Even then for unlimited screens you have to pay an extra $15 a month.
