Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from Microsoft Xbox One S's website, Microsoft Xbox One S performs very well in terms of display performance relative to other video game console services.
One reviewer on toptenreviews.com said Microsoft Xbox One S performs well on display performance relative to its peers. You can read the full review here. From this review:
One of the most outstanding aspects of the new One S is that it allows for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and video streaming. You can immediately start enjoying 4K content from Netflix and other sources if you have a compatible screen. Additionally, its added support for HDR helps ensure you can enjoy a premium playback experience. A few games can run in HDR, but it doesn’t yet support 4K native gaming.

Based on a review posted on pcmag.com, Microsoft Xbox One X was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
The Xbox One X shares the same high-end media playback features as the One S, including Ultra HD Blu-ray support and high dynamic range (HDR) compatibility. You can watch 4K movies and shows either streamed through services like Amazon Video and Netflix (and Microsoft's own Movies & TV Store), or on physical Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. I watched Jessica Jones on Netflix and the BBC's Planet Earth II on Ultra HD Blu-ray on the Xbox One X, and both played back in crisp, vivid 4K HDR.
Based on a review posted on systoolsgroup.com, Microsoft Xbox One X was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
Microsoft Xbox One X is fully equipped to facilitate the requirements of 4K gaming. Besides, it can play 4K Blu-rays disks. In both cases, we have experienced impeccable quality. In naked eyes, most users may not see the difference between 1080p and 4K video. However, the scenario changes when it comes to 4K gaming. When a game is played on 4K HDR television, user will get a view with never-seen-before details. The games can be played in Performance mode also, which gives a smooth feeling of playing the game on a gaming computer.
Based on a review posted on stuff.tv, Microsoft Xbox One X was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
Aside from being a ridiculously buff games machine, the One X is also a home cinema geek’s dream thanks to its Ultra HD Blu-ray drive and support for 4K streaming across Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Oh, and it supports Dolby Atmos for truly immersive surround sound, too.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from Nintendo Switch's website, Nintendo Switch performs very well in terms of display performance relative to other video game console services.
One reviewer on t3.com said Nintendo Switch performs well on display performance relative to its peers. You can read the full review here. From this review:
First thing you notice when you pick up the Switch is how heavy and premium the build quality feels (Switch console weight = 297g). Unlike the Wii U's gamepad, which had a plasticky lightness to it that never really convinced, the Nintendo Switch and Joy-Con controllers are all glass, metal and composite, communicating a sense of quality and expense whenever they are in the hand. In Handheld Mode with the Joy-Con controllers slotted into the system this is doubly so; while the look of the Switch, both close up and from afar, is just lovely.

While Sony's focus on gaming, gaming and more gaming has left the PS4 a bit light on the multimedia entertainment side, its compatibility with all your favourite streaming apps from Netflix to Demand 5 makes it as robust as most smart TVs. It doesn't live up to the media offerings on Xbox One S and X thanks to their Ultra HD Blu-ray players, but it still offers HDR, 4K streaming capabilities providing you have a compatible TV

Based on a review posted on pcmag.com, Nintendo Super NES Classic was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
While the SNES Classic has only 21 games compared with the NES Classic's 30, they're all bigger, more engaging titles. More importantly, they're all fantastic, without a single dud on the list. That's good, because like the NES Classic, the SNES Classic is a completely closed system; there's no internet connectivity, or any supported way to update the device or add new games.

One reviewer on ign.com said Nintendo Switch Lite performs well on visual fidelity relative to its peers. You can read the full review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
The LCD screen is lovely, too. From what I can tell, games seem to play pretty much the same here as on the original performance-wise, with the graphics even looking marginally improved at times due to the slightly higher pixel density that comes from having the same 720p resolution crammed into a smaller space.

Based on one review posted on cnet.com, it appears that Nintendo 2DS received poor ratings for display performance. See the full review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
It's important to reinforce that the 2DS is Nintendo's no-frills, entry-level portable. The 2DS plays nearly all games for the Nintendo 3DS platform, but it can't display anything in 3D.

Based on a review posted on cnet.com, Sony PlayStation Classic was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
For some reason we don't understand, nine of the 20 games in the Classic are presented in the international PAL video standard, which plays at an inherently slower refresh rate (50 Hz). Long story short, these titles will appear to have lower frame rates compared to their NTSC (60 Hz) counterparts when played on US TVs. (Here's how that plays out side-by-side.)

Based on a review posted on t3.com, Nintendo 3DS XL was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
While still solid and rugged, the XL also lacks the reassuring build quality of its predecessor, the D-pad, 3D slider and interior plastic in particular cheap and clicky, the enormous 'Select', 'Home' and 'Start' buttons looking like something you'd get in a knock-off Nintari 'multi-game' portable on the Costa del Sol.

Based on a review posted on tomsguide.com, Nintendo 2DS XL was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
The New 2DS XL also makes some notable quality-of-life improvements over its more premium sibling, including a protective flap that keeps your game cartridges from accidentally popping out. Unlike the 3DS XL, the New 2DS XL actually includes a charger, and allows you to swap microSD cards without having to unscrew the back panel with a very specific screwdriver.
Based on a review posted on alphr.com, Nintendo 2DS XL was rated as fairly average for display performance relative to competing video game console services. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
With its clamshell design and crisp colour combinations, the New Nintendo 2DS XL is a thing of quiet beauty. Opening the lid reveals that the 2DS XL has also adopted the New 3DS’s C Stick nubbin and the New 3DS XL’s spacious screens, with the lower touchscreen hiding Amiibo support underneath. It may not have the customisable interchangeable covers of its siblings, and it might still look somewhat more childlike than the more angular New 3DS and New 3DS XL, but it’s a decent step forward. It feels pleasingly chunky in the hand and build quality is, as always, solid.

Based on a review posted on pocket-lint.com, Microsoft Xbox Series S was rated as fairly average for visual fidelity relative to competing video game console stores. Check out the entire review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Series S is capable of consistent 60 frames-per-second gaming, even up to 120fps, albeit at a 1440p resolution rather than full 4K (as the Series X). It does have the capability of 4K output, which developers may exploit somewhere down the line, but a stable 1440p is recommended for now.
Based on a review posted on polygon.com, Microsoft Xbox Series S was rated as fairly average for visual fidelity relative to competing video game console stores. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
The Xbox Series S costs less because it does less. It can’t run games in 4K; the highest resolution it can deliver is 1440p. It has no optical disc drive, let alone the 4K Blu-ray player that the Series X touts.
