Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from JBL Charge 4's website, JBL Charge 4 performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other bluetooth speaker brands.
The review site techradar.com gives JBL Charge 4 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
JBL also upgraded the battery from 6000mAh on the Charge 3 to around 7500mAh on the Charge 4. Besides that, the Charge 4 still keeps most of the features that made the Charge 3 so great.
The review site whathifi.com gives JBL Charge 4 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
The Charge 4 has the same claimed battery life as the Charge 3, at 20 hours. However, battery capacity has actually been substantially increased, from 6000mAh to 7500mAh. This means you can use it at a higher volume without sacrificing longevity so much. A handy white LED indicator on the front shows the battery level.
The review site lifewire.com gives JBL Charge 4 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. From this review:
JBL claims the Charge 4 gets 20 hours of battery life, which is definitely on the long side compared to similar products. We took this speaker on a road trip to the beach and let it play constantly throughout the day and it never quit.

The review site rtings.com gives JBL TUNE 500BT Bluetooth Headphone excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. From this review:

The review site techradar.com gives JBL Live On Ear Wireless Headphones excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
Battery life is rated at 20 hours with ANC and wireless enabled and we had no problems reaching that number at medium volume. Better, we often saw an hour or two more if we kept the volume low and had the headphones idle. If you use the JBL Live 650BTNC with a wire with ANC enabled, you can get upwards 30 hours on a single charge - more than enough for a trip overseas.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from Beats by Dre Beats Solo's website, Beats by Dre Beats Solo performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other on-ear headphone stores.
The review site techradar.com gives Beats by Dre Beats Solo excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
The Beats Solo 3's strong point is the tech that goes into its wireless capabilities. Apple credits its W1 wireless chip for the headphones' excellent up-to 40 hours battery, but the exact specs are – as usual for Apple – rather opaque.
The review site soundguys.com gives Beats by Dre Beats Solo excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
So Beats claims that the battery on the new Solo 3 Wireless will last you an insane 40 hours. For reference, the previous Solo 2 model lasted 12 hours. The difference is, again thanks to the new W1 chip. These get pretty loud and testing them on max volume got us about 31.5 hours. So it’s easy to see how you can 40 hours if you listen to music at normal human levels. If you do manage to deplete your battery, throwing them back on a charger for 5 minutes is enough to get you another 3 hours of battery life.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from Sennheiser HD 25's website, Sennheiser HD 25 performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other on-ear headphone stores.
The review site pcmag.com gives Sennheiser HD 25 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. From this review:
Sennheiser estimates battery life to be roughly 25 hours, but your results will vary with your volume levels. In addition to the charging and audio cables, the headphones ship with a black drawstring carrying pouch.
The review site tomsguide.com gives Sennheiser HD 25 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Sennheiser claims that the 4.50 BTNC lasts up to 25 hours on a charge. However, that estimate refers to when the active-noise-cancellation circuit is turned off. With the ANC enabled, that time is closer to 19 hours. That meant that I had to charge the cans only three times in three weeks. They easily lasted for two 2.5-hour flights, plus multiple 3-to-4-hour listening sessions, without needing a charge.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from Master & Dynamic's website, Master & Dynamic performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other on-ear headphone stores.
The review site techaeris.com gives Master & Dynamic excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Master & Dynamic says you should get about 3.5 hours of battery life out of the MW07’s and I found that to be accurate. There were times I got under 3.5 hours and other times slightly over. Plus you get 3 additional charges from the included charging case and you can charge them for 45 minutes and get 1.5 hours if you’re in a hurry. Overall, these have great battery life for true wireless earphones.
The review site cnet.com gives Master & Dynamic excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
Battery life seemed good. They're rated at 24 hours of battery life at moderate volume levels, and I used them for four days without having to recharge. It's also worth noting that they charge via USB-C -- that's good -- and have a quick-charge feature that gives you several hours of juice with just 15 minutes of charging (we're still confirming quick-charge numbers).

Based on ratings published by trusted online review sites as well as information from Beats Studio3's website, Beats Studio3 performs average to better than average in terms of battery performance compared to other wireless over-ear headphone brands.
Based on a review posted on soundguys.com, Beats Studio3 was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing over-ear headphone brands. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
Beats claims a battery life of 22 hours with active noise cancelling turned on and 40 hours without. For reference, Bose claims about 20 hours of constant playback on their QC35 headphones. In our testing here we got 10 hours and 12 minutes on 100% volume with ANC turned on, so it isn’t hard to see how you could push these well beyond the 22 hours unless you want to blow out your ear drums.
Based on a review posted on cnet.com, Beats Studio3 was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing over-ear headphone brands. Check out the entire review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Battery life numbers vary with volume levels, so you may not get quite that amount, but I was able to consistently hit at least 20 hours of playback and sometimes more before I had to recharge (that's slightly better than the Bose QuietComfort 35 II battery life). Turn off noise canceling and that number goes up to 40 hours. Meanwhile, the Beats Fast Fuel feature gives you three hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging.
Based on a review posted on trustedreviews.com, Beats Studio3 was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing over-ear headphone brands. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
Battery life is varied, and this is where Apple’s W1 chip comes in. You can get around 22 hours of play time with ANC on (40 with it off) – but only with Apple devices. With non-iOS gadgets, the Beats Studio 3 achieved about half that. Meanwhile, the Sony WH-1000XM2 offer 30 hours (ANC on) on a full charge, no matter the device you’re using.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from JBL Flip's website, JBL Flip performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other bluetooth speaker brands.
The review site trustedreviews.com gives JBL Flip excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
The battery lasts for up to 12 hours, which beats the Bose SoundLink Mini II and Jam Heavy Metal.
The review site techradar.com gives JBL Flip excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Given its ultra-portable design, battery life is key. Fortunately, the JBL Flip 4 has solid staying power, with its 3,000mAh capable of pumping out an impressive 12-hours of tunes between necessary trips to the mains. That’s a couple of hours less than the UE Boom 2, but still nothing to be sniffed at.
The review site tomsguide.com gives JBL Flip excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
JBL states that the Flip 4's battery life at 12 hours, but that seems low. After I spent more than 6 hours listening, the battery indicator showed it still had four-fifths of the charge left. The Flip 3's battery was rated at 10 hours, while the Roll 2 advertises 9 hours of playback on a charge.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from JBL Clip's website, JBL Clip performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other bluetooth speaker brands.
The review site soundguys.com gives JBL Clip excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. From this review:
The design is a pretty welcome improvement in my opinion just because of the overall look and feel of the product, but it’s the battery life that is the biggest improvement. JBL says you’ll get about ten hours of constant playback, but in our testing, we were able to push this to 16 hours and 11 minutes at a constant output of 75dB which is super impressive.
The review site majorhifi.com gives JBL Clip excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. From this review:
JBL has stepped it up a notch and given the Clip 3 a 10 hour battery life instead of the 8 hours provided by the old Clip 2. It also takes 3 hours to fully charge.
The review site tomsguide.com gives JBL Clip excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Here's a brief quote from this review:
JBL states that you can listen for 5 hours on a full charge, and we found that to be about accurate. In one test, we ran out of juice after 4 hours of listening at low volume, but on another occasion, the speaker lasted close to 6 hours. Either way, that's not a lot of time to go without needing a charge. The short battery life could definitely cramp your mobile lifestyle.

The review site whathifi.com gives JBL Link 20 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
JBL has entered that rather niche market with the Link 20. It’s a Google Assistant smart-speaker that’s small enough to slip into your rucksack, but it also has a 10-hour battery life so you can take it on the go.
The review site techradar.com gives JBL Link 20 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
Turn it on using the power button on the back and a little LED array alongside will show you how much of the battery is left. A full charge lasts up to 10 hours, which is fine in practical terms for most occasions, but below, for example, the Bluetooth-only UE MegaBoom. That speaker lasts up to 20 hours.

The review site trustedreviews.com gives Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A1 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
When it comes to charging, you have the latest USB-C for the fastest top-up of that 2200mAh battery. This 2.5-hour charge offers a 24-hour day of use, says B&O. In reality, if you don’t have it blasting out at full volume then you’ll easily get a good two days out of it. More so if you turn off Bluetooth and use the direct 3.5mm audio port to plug in your music.
The review site cnet.com gives Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A1 excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
As its shape implies, it also doubles as a speakerphone and it's a good one. The other plus is the strong battery life -- it's rated at 24 hours thanks to a 2,200mAh internal rechargeable battery and an efficient adaptive power management system. The review site soundguys.com gives SkullCandy Grind excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
Battery life is estimated at around 12 hours at 75% volume and in our testing that was fairly accurate. Our first run got us around 11 hours of playback while the second run lasted 11.5 hours. It’s worth mentioning that while most people will probably use them daily at around 75% volume, we maxed it out for testing purposes.
Based on a review posted on pcmag.com, SkullCandy Grind was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing on-ear headphone stores. Check out the entire review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Skullcandy rates the Grind Wireless's battery life at roughly 12 hours, but your results will vary in relation to your volume levels. Skullcandy claims the headphones will shut down automatically after 5 minutes in two scenarios: if they are not paired, or if the paired device is out of range. In all other scenarios, the Grind Wireless will not shut down, but will enter a standby mode that uses far less battery life than staying active.

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from JBL Pulse's website, JBL Pulse performs very well in terms of battery performance relative to other bluetooth speaker brands.
The review site cnet.com gives JBL Pulse excellent ratings for battery performance in a review posted on its website. From this review:
The built-in rechargeable battery offers 10 hours of battery for sound only and 5 hours with the light show in effect.
Based on a review posted on tomsguide.com, JBL Pulse was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing bluetooth speaker brands. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
The cost of the lights comes in battery life: JBL says you'll get 5 hours of playback on a full charge with the lights in use. We tested the speaker for several hours over the course of a week, and the battery-level indicator still showed three-fifths left, so you may be able to get more than the rated runtime. You can also shut off the lights and get more battery life (JBL claims 10 hours), and we recommend doing so when you're using the speaker in bright daylight, when you can't really see the lights anyway. But even 10 hours still pales in comparison to the UE Boom's 15 hours on a charge or the Fugoo's astounding 40 hours.

Jabra claims 14 hours of battery time and up to 12 days of standby time and those claims are pretty much true. My sample came with a pretty good charge on the battery; when fully charged, the battery can last a really long time: 15-plus hours. Even on a flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai, I wouldn't rock the same pair of headphones for 15 hours without taking a break, but the HD1 is so good with battery life that you really don't have to worry about charging these headphones very often.

The Skullcandy have great battery life, but unfortunately, they don’t have a companion app with customization options. They also have an amazing quick charge feature that can give you about 5 hours of battery life for only 10 minutes of charging. They can extend their battery life thanks to a good power saving standby mode. If the battery is dead, you can use the included audio cable to use them passively, but without the ANC feature. Also, you can pair them with the Tile app which will let you track your headphones easily if you lose them.
Based on a review posted on techradar.com, Skullcandy Venue was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing over-ear headphone brands. Check out the entire review here. From this review:
Battery life is rated at 24 hours with ANC and Bluetooth turned off and our tests showed that number was relatively accurate with 22 hours of battery life with both ANC and Bluetooth turned on. If you're low on juice or need to the headphones to last for a few days, you can theoretically stretch that time to 40 hours when using the included cable and ANC.

The Roll 2 shares the same nine-hour estimated battery life as its predecessor.
Based on a review posted on techradar.com, UE Roll 2 was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing bluetooth speaker brands. Check out the entire review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
the UE Roll 2's battery is rated for about nine hours of playback, but can vary depending on the volume and genre of the music. Overall, the speaker is surprisingly lightweight – coming in at 330g – and far from massive at just 5.3 inches in circumference and 1.2 inches in height. That said, the UE Roll 2 is sturdy and as likely to survive a day at the beach as it is to weather a day bouncing around in your bag.

Based on a review posted on techgearlab.com, UE BOOM 3 was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing bluetooth speaker brands. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
We were very impressed with the Boom 3's battery life in our testing. Though UE claims a battery life of 15 hours, the Boom 3 went above and beyond in our testing, cranking out music or a full 24 hours on a single charge. This puts it towards the top of our battery life leaderboard, and solidly into the charge-once-listen-all-weekend category.
Based on a review posted on soundguys.com, UE BOOM 3 was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing bluetooth speaker brands. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
UE claims a battery life of 15 hours, but in our testing, we got 8.3 hours which is a bummer. While it’s fine for an average day, it isn’t going to blow you away like some other, less expensive speakers that can play music for 24-hours straight. But again, UE made a slight change that I think is really cool: you can charge the UE Boom 3 wirelessly with the proprietary Power Up dock. The caveat? It’s sold separately.

I was extremely impressed with the battery life, for example. Anker promises 20 hours of wireless playback with ANC enabled, and 50 hours of wired ANC-enabled playback. In my experience, this is about right.

Battery life is rated at 20 hours with Bluetooth and noise cancelling on; in our tests, we got 21½ hours.
Based on a review posted on reviewgeek.com, Soundcore Space NC was rated as fairly average for battery performance relative to competing over-ear headphone brands. Check out the entire review here. Here's a brief quote from this review:
Anker promises a battery life of about 20 hours in wireless mode with noise cancelling turned on, with an impressive 50 hours if you use them wired with noise cancelling on. Testing them out in wireless mode, they did actually meet those expectations. Anything that means you forget when you last charged them is good in my book, even more so as these headphones take about three hours to recharge fully when the inevitable happens.
