The Blackberry KEYone offers you four options to secure your phone: Pattern, PIN, Password and Fingerprint.Reviewers found that it was simple to create screen lock on their phones and the options that they were provided with were right in line with most phones in today's market. I did witness issues with the fingerprint sensor not recognizing my fingerprint, which is normal as any dirt, or dust on the finger could alter how it is read, so my suggestion is t...

The Blackberry KEYone comes with Gorilla Glass and that means that it was scratch resistant up to the Moh's hardness pick of level 6, which is right in line with most phones today, so it does have good scratch resistance.

The Blackberry KEYone has a mono speaker that is ok to use to play videos or music, however if you raise the volume too loud, be prepared for the audio to be distorted. In addition even when using headphones, users experienced that the audio output was just average. The phone is fine to use for phone calls, but if you are trying to watch or listen to media, this is not the phone for that.

Reviewers found that the front camera for the Blackberry KEYone was adequate for video calls or selfies in regular light. However, it did experience problems with noise and autofocus when shooting in dim conditions. Another issue that users experienced is that your face can show up slightly out of focus while the background is clear. Overall, this selfie camera is fine, but nothing to sneeze at.

The Blackberry KEYone was tested by YouTuber JerryRigEverything and they found that the phone was not as durable as to be expected. It was able to withstand scratches of a hardness pick up to level 6, which is standard with most phones today. However, when bending the phone, the screen easily popped out of the frame, which shows that the phone is not put together very securely.Overall, this phone does not have a good life span and can...

The Blackberry KEYone uses the same camera sensor in its 12MP camera s the Google Pixel phone and that means that it has a surprisingly good camera. However, it does have issues in low light and there is a lot of noise and autofocus struggles in these situations. The other main issue with this camera is the fact that it is set to a 3:2 aspect ratio which means that photos are cropped and don't come out in a high resolution.O...

The Blackberry KEYone comes with a 4.5 inch full HD screen. However, it comes with a 3:2 aspect ratio and that leads to things feel incredible small and its difficult to view things on the screen. The plus of the screen is that it does have good brightness and color accuracy is pretty solid. Overall, the Blackberry KEYone's screen is below average when it comes to its competitors, especially because of the feeling of a cramped scre...

The Samsung Galaxy S10 has various options to lock your phone, including pattern, PIN, passwords, fingerprint and facial recognition. However, it has had some issues with its security features.Users have noted that it was easy to hack into someone's phone using an image or video of them and placing that in front of the screen because the phone doesn't do 3d face mapping to ensure that the person trying to unlock the phone is the ac...

Nick Chin posted an answer to: Is the Samsung Galaxy S10 scratch resistant?
The phone is protected by Gorilla Glass 6 which means that it is able to withstand a lot of use and wear and tear in most everyday situations without scratching. It would take something extremely hard on the Moh scale to do the amount of damage that would cause severe scratch damage to the phone.Overall, the phone is very solid when it comes to scratch resistance.

Love the mouse. Build quality is solid. Some competing mouses are made of cheaper plastic that you can feel flex when you have a tight grip. The Mouse and Keyboard Center software is also nice and takes up few resources in comparison to competing mouses drivers/software. Overall I’ve been very satisfied with the performance and build quality of the mouse; I got a second one for my office at work.

Was excited to have something that I could lay the phone on as opposed to wrestling with plugging the small plug into the small port to get a fast charge. Seemed to be working ok because I'd put it on at bedtime but, on my occasional day off work I realized it was taking longer then plugging in direct. Then on the fifth week of use it stopped charging completely. Unplugged the cable from it and pluged directly into my phone, charging was perfect again. After trying time after time I realized ...

Nick Chin upvoted Lewis Rivera's review of Google Wifi
I have 2 of these Google WiFi's. One is connected directly to the modem and the other one is used as an extender. This system works a bit differently than most wireless routers. It puts out both the 2.4 and 5 GHz signals, but they are not listed separately when you look to connect to a network. Somehow they seem to be combined. If you have a newer computer or phone that can connect to either frequency, you'll find you get better speed with this Google WiFi than a device that can only connect ...

I was in the same situation as others who have reviewed this product. We have a 2 story home and a finished basement. Prior to googles mesh system I had to have two routers to get a "decent" signal throughout my home. I tried extenders but they were worthless. I had to have several wireless networks setup. So you would have to switch networks if you wanted a decent signal in the basement. Once I hooked up this system I had a strong signal from top to bottom of my house. You will notice the di...

Nick Chin upvoted The Unforgiven 's answer to Is Microsoft's Universal Foldable Keyboard wireless performance good?
Pairing back from one device to another is my issue. It would not automatically pair back with Device 1 when pressing that button. I would have to open my Bluetooth settings, UNPAIR the device first, then pair it again to get the 6-digit key. Same with Device 2. After much experimenting, this is the only way to use this keyboard. Simply pressing on the keyboard's name in the bluetooth settings will tell me that the device is unable to communicate with the keyboard. So it was necessary to unpa...

I'm a fairly quick touch-typist and I find that I have less errors with this keyboard than the Apple Smart Keyboard. I also like that I can have a slim but full cover on my iPad, and only use a keyboard when I need one, rather than carrying it all the time.

Nick Chin upvoted The Unforgiven 's answer to How portable is Microsoft's Universal Foldable Keyboard?
The 'hinge' holding it closed is a magnet, which rather ingeniously also serves as the on/off switch. When the keyboard is unfolded, it will power on. When collapsed, the device will turn off. When open, the Micro-USB plug on the far right side of the keyboard is used for charging. I haven't found the end of the battery yet, but I charge it for a couple hours each week. When collapsed, it takes up little enough room that it fits in the back pocket of my grid organizer.

According to many tech reviewers, the durability of the iPhone XS is a marked improvement from past models of the iPhone. They are rated to withstand being submerged in water 2 meters depth for up to 30 minutes. I've seen multiple tests from Youtubers that dropped the phone from as high as 6 feet and the phone didn't crack. The stainless steel body of the phone is more durable as well and won't ...

The iPhone XS features two 12MP cameras, one wide angle and one telephoto. The camera is definitely one of the best out there. However, I did find that in some pictures that the images did look a little overexposed. The camera is best used to capture wide angle and close up images in well-lit places. In poor-lit environments, the camera does have issues with capturing every little detail.

The iPhone XS's screen is incredible. The phone comes with an OLED display that gives a great range of colors and produces an image that is bright and sharp. It has a 2436 x 1125 resolution and 458 ppi but what sets it apart from previous screens is the improvements in dynamic range, which makes HDR even more stunning. When watching movies and playing the more graphic intense games on the iPhone XS screen, I was truly shocked at th...

The Apple iPhone XS comes with Apple's A12 Bionic Processor. It comes with an expanded GPU with four cores and a six-core CPU. I could definitely tell the upgrades in performance from past iPhones when I loaded up more memory demanding apps and especially when I tried using augmented reality with the phone. I also saw an increase in the speed when opening and closing apps which is great when trying to be as efficient as possible wh...

The Motorola Moto G7 offers various options to lock your phone. You can use Face Unlock, a pattern, a PIN, a password and fingerprint sensor. The various options that you have all have different levels of security and personally I feel that the most secure is having an actual password. Face Unlock has been known to be quite unsafe because someone could use a picture of you to unlock the phone.

Nick Chin posted an answer to: Is Motorola's Moto G scratch resistant?
The Motorola Moto G7 comes with Gorilla Glass 3 so that means that it would take a lot of damage and abuse for you to see any visible damage to the phone. In my experience using the phone I knocked the phone a couple of times but didn't recognize any noticeable damage to the phone itself which was a pleasant surprise.

The Motorola Moto G7 comes with a mono audio speaker and when using headphones it doesn't convert to stereo output, so that results in sound that is flat and unbalanced. As well, I experienced several issues with volume and the max level is quite low and that forces you to use headphones. The actual speaker on the phone itself is one on the bottom of the device and it is very easy to block the audio, so that can be...

The Motorola Moto G7 comes with an 8MP front facing camera. The image that is produced when using the selfie camera is quite mediocre. When I used the camera I saw that the camera tried to adjust and add color to the images to make then more vibrant and bright, but by doing so it created unrealistic looking images, especially when I used the front camera. So the camera for this device is very lackluster compared to its comp...

The Motorola Moto G7 is an adequately durable phone. While the phone is water repellent it is not water resistant, so you definitely need to be careful when using your phone near water. The phone is made of a plastic frame and has glass on the back of the phone. The Motorola Moto G7 comes with two rear facing cameras, one 12MP sensor with a f/1.8 lens and a secondary 5MP sensor. The problem is, is that the camera itself doesn't produce the highest quality images. Considering that the Motorola Moto G7 is a lower cost phone, the screen is pretty solid. It features a 2270 x 1080 resolution screen on a 6.2 inch LCD display. What is lacking on the display is that the contrast isn't as good as higher end phones with more high quality screens. As well, it doesn't quite have the same brightness and vivid imagery that other phones in this price point provide. Overall...
