Job interview is one of the hottest topics of people wanting to land a good job. Your interview could make or unmake you in your search for a job. Interview is very important because it could either get you hired or rejected for the job you are applying for.

Plan
Planning includes the time you want to have the interview. If you are a morning person you can schedule an interview in the morning which you feel more comfortable. If you are a late riser then you can schedule an interview in the afternoon so that you will be more at ease. Planning the interview is good because it will get you prepared for what you should do during the interview. This also includes the proper attire that you should wear for the interview. It is always proper to dress accordingly. Always dress simply and properly according to the job you are applying for. It is improper to dress like an executive if you are applying for a blue collar job. This is the first test for you to do what is proper.
Research
Before the interview, make sure that you have researched about the company where you are having interview. It is good to have a little background knowledge about the company because the interviewer might be asking you some questions related to the company. You should also find out if the company is stable to make sure that you are applying for a long term job. Know also the location of the company so that you will know where you are going.
Practice
List all questions you think you will be asked by the interviewer then practice answering them in front of a mirror. You can also ask the help of a friend or a family member which is better because you can actually feel how to be interviewed if you talk actually to a person.
Make a Connection
Job interview is something very important. During the interview it is important to make connection with the interviewer. Have an eye contact so that the interviewer will believe in you. Make the interviewer believe in what you are saying so that you can connect with each other.
Avoid negative attitude
Always talk positive when you are interviewed. Tell all your positive points and avoid talking negatively about your former employer. Don’t ask about your salary unless asked. It could wait for later.
Answer Properly and Honestly
If you are asked questions, it is important to answer them properly and in detail. Interviewers are trained to do the job so they know when you are lying or telling the truth. It is better to tell the truth honestly than lying about something you haven’t done in the past because they will know anyway. If you don’t have any work experiences say so and do not lie.
Show confidence
Being confident while being interviewed will make the interviewer believe in you. Companies hire people that they believe in because they want people who could help improve and contribute to the development of their company. If you show that you are weak, the interviewer will have second thoughts of hiring you.
