Salbutamol (Ventolin) has period of action of 4 to 6 hours in nearly all subjects.

Ventolin Capsule: Adults and kids greater than 12 yrs: 1to 2 capsule 2-3 times every day with appropriate intervals.
Children between 6 to 12 yrs: a capsule 2-3 times every day;
Less than 6 yrs: Not advisable.
Ventolin Syrup: Adults and kids greater than 12 yrs: 10 to 20 Ml 2-3 times every day (2 to 4 mg of salbutamol).
Children between 6 to 12 yrs: 2 mg salbutamol (10 Ml 2-3 times every day);
Children between 2 to 6 yrs s: 5 to10 Ml 2-3 times every day (1 to 2 mg salbutamol).
The quantity of syrup estimated is based on composition strength of 2 mg salbutamol per 10 mL.
Administration: Ventolin capsule might be consumed whole or the ingredients might be poured in a bit of water to generate pleasingly flavored syrup, if favored.
