Type G Body Diet
Getting rid of type G body fat can be hard, but not impossible. Women fall into this body type more than men do, simply because of the feminine hormones, which naturally give us narrow shoulders and broader hips. The “G” stands for "Gonadal" type individuals, governed by the Gonadal glands and the pear-shaped bodies, collect fat in the hips, thighs and buttocks. Gonadal glands are connected to our metabolic rate, they also control how our bodies burn calories and store fat.
Avoid spices like capsaicin and turmeric, high fat foods, such butter, cream cheese and heavy creams, they promote fat collection for G type bodies. Meals should consist of a light breakfast in the morning, a light lunch 4 hours later and a filling dinner 5 hours after lunch with absolutely no eating between breakfast and lunch or after dinner. Type G bodies operate on timers, this meal schedule will force our body to burn the stored fat.
Food secretions control our body's metabolic performance, and feeding the Gonadal glands shapes this body type. It's a natural reaction to respond to our food cravings, but for type G bodies, it stimulates the Gonadal glands, causing weight gain. Change and moderate your choice of foods and the Gonadal gland's reaction of storing fat will change and increase your body's metabolic rate to burn the stored fat.
Healthy eating is about balance, it's not about going without, but with some planning you can still enjoy your favorite foods. Contributors of stored fats for the G body type are food flavors that are rich, creamy and spicy. You need to shift your diet to reduce the intake of these foods. Eat more foods like vegetables, fruits, low-fat dairy and protein, like eggs, chicken or fish. Use herbs like rosemary, thyme, parsley and basil, they will not stimulate the Gonadal glands.
Drinking fluids is part of our normal activity, water, coffee or red clover tea drinks with honey instead of sugar works best for Gonadal gland body types. Red clover tea is known to ease the body and works especially well with female hormones. Keeping your body hydrated helps your body operate properly, use water as a natural cleanser and red clover tea to stay calm and reduce those cravings between meals.
Cardiovascular exercises designed to help rid type G bodies of fat need to be done at least three to four times a week for 45 to 60 minutes. Typically, a one-hour workout will burn approximately 200 to 300 calories, energizing your body, and will continue to burn calories long after you have finished the workout. Best workouts for getting rid of type G fat are cycling, walking and swimming.
Everyone and every body can be different. Metabolism is the key, and yes, the G type body mainly affects women. Most women believe that because they are female, they are destined to have more fat and wider hips. This does not have to occur. Eating a vegetarian diet can really limit the fat deposits.
Eat little red meat, and if you do eat red meat, make sure it is 100% grass fed beef. Use the beef in chili or burritos; this makes each meal have less red meat. Get most of your protein from chicken, or fish. If you are vegan, you can get plenty of protein from foods like Quinoa and a good yogurt like Greek yogurt from Fage. Eat plenty of vegetables. Making your own soups like vegetable soup is an excellent source of vegetables and liquid. Use vegetable broth for the soup. Do not eat processed foods and do not eat white breads, always eat whole wheat products, like whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta and brown rice.
Limit sugar. For a dessert, a small piece of dark chocolate and Greek yogurt is a great choice.
You do not have to feel as if you have no choice. You do, and it is not that hard once you get used to cooking your own meals or making the right choices.
