These dogs largely differ in size, color, appearances and may other traits but they all have one thing in common – they are very loyal pets; hence regarded as man’s best friend. One of the cutest dog breed with short legs but extremely long body is the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. This breed is from Wales in the United Kingdom and is one of the oldest herding breeds. Cardigan Welsh Corgis are very flexible dogs. They can live in urban or rural areas without problems and are very loyal family pet.

Dachshunds are extremely long-bodied breed of dogs with very short legs that belong to the hound family. This breed that originated in Germany was bred to hunt badger, rabbit and other animals. In the US, Dachshunds are used to hunt Prairie Dogs.

The cute-looking Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a short-legged but long-bodied herding dog breed from Pembrokeshire, Wales in UK. This dog holds the distinction as one of the smallest herding dog. One famous person who owns several Pembroke Welsh Corgis is Queen Elizabeth II of UK. This excellent working dog is also one of the most intelligent dogs in the world.
