Active ingredients- Paracetamol
Mechanism of action
Tempra Forte is from the family of acetaminophen (paracetamol), a secure and efficient analgesic and antipyretic. It isn’t a salicylate neither does it contains caffeine or phenacetin. Tempra Forte has no result on prothrombin point. It is predominantly helpful for administration in subjects who do not endure aspirin well since it is less probable to induce gastrointestinal disorders.
Tempra Forte uses
It is helpful for dropping fever and for the transitory respite of insignificant pains, aches and uneasiness linked with the flu or common colds, vaccinations or inoculations. It is also helpful in decreasing pain because of adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy.
Tempra forte may also be administered for other ailments not mentioned above.
Dosage and administration
Use Tempra forte as prescribed by your doctor, in general, it can be use without our without food.
- Subjects with a recognized allergic reaction to paracetamol (acetaminophen).
- Prolonged administration of paracetamol (acetaminophen) in subjects suffering from anemia or with pulmonary, cardiac, hepatic and/ or renal ailment.
Precautions and warnings
Tempra Forte Tablet:
- Avoid prolonged use >10 days ;
- Do not use it in children less than 3 yrs of age.
Tempra Forte Syrup:
If fever perseveres for over 3 dys or if soreness persists for more than 5 dys, check with the doctor.
As with all medicine, consult a doctor before administering Tempra Forte during pregnancy or lactation.
Paracetamol (acetaminophen) has been identified to amplify the action of orally use anticoagulants. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) must be administered with care to subjects with damaged kidney or liver dysfunction in addition to patients using other preparations that influences the liver.
Use in pregnancy and lactation: When the drug is administered during pregnancy or lactation, there are no identified side effects upon fetal growth or nursing Childs.
Tempra forte side effects
Normally, adverse reactions to paracetamol (acetaminophen) are placid although hematological side effects have been observed. Occasional reports of stomach ache, diarrhea and other minor GI disorders have been reported in the past. Hypersensitivity and additional allergic symptoms take place infrequently.
