Improve Your Article Traffic with Stumbleupon

Stumbleupon is a very good website which brings in significant traffic to my articles! Since joining Triond over a year now, I had never social bookmarked my articles and poems for several months and the traffic I received was really low! It was so low that I had only generated a penny a month which means that my total views for a month would have been between 5 and 10! This trend had gone on for 3-4 months until I had written some useful articles! However, my traffic was not surprising and I almost gave up on Triond. However, I was determined to fight and increase my views while trying to write hundreds of articles! This way I could guarantee that I will receive good traffic everyday and my earnings will slowly increase.

Unfortunately, my laptop had broken down and now I am struggling to write most of my articles. But the good news is that I am getting my laptop repaired and it should be back in my hands by tomorrow! This is when I can start writing full time.

Over the past few months, most of the articles I had read about social bookmarking persuaded me to give it a try. It was of no harm and I wouldn’t lose anything but actually gain from this. So I bookmarked some of my articles on Stumbleupon, they brought in some traffic. But my best day was when I had bookmarked some of my poems which brought in surprising amounts of traffic.

The best one of all was my Goodbye High School poem which brought in 200 views in just five minutes of bookmarking it on Stumbleupon! Wow, I was astonished! It is still bringing in more traffic today. My second best poem is A New Beginning which brings in less views but still satisfactory to me at around 100-200 views a month. As maybe the first person ever to do this on Triond, I will show you my traffic stats for the first page on ‘My Content’ which includes my two best poems. See the picture below:

My advice about Stumbleupon

I would really recommend Stumbleupon because this is one site which brings me the most traffic to my articles. After using most of the other social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit and Delicious, I have not received any traffic from them. This is why using Stumbleupon actually pays it off for you after spending much of your time adding your contents.
