Some people seem to have a very high natural stamina. Thomas A. Edison never slept more than four hours a night (source: The Law of Success in 16 Lessons) and the current "boss" of the decision engine Bing works up to 21 hours a day and most of his days he works 20 hours a day. How can these people work so many hours and still manage to live an healthy life to their 70's or 80's? They have unlimited enthusiasm about the work they are doing. No one can make them depressed or make them sad. They are always excited, you can see that on Youtube by searching any of them. The second thing is they are successful. Several researches shows that when we are successful we can work harder, for longer and our bodies will even age slower up to eight years when compared to those who are not successful in life.

Another thing these people know is how to work. It just just hitting the tools of the trade and presto you are done. You need to manage your energy very efficiently during your entire day just like Alberto Contador and Lance Armstrong do while they are racing. These people had to learn how to stop energy waste and how to increase productivity over the years.

Storing enough energy in your body is the next thing to do. Eat as much as you for because low sugar in the blood will reduce your mental and muscle output and send you to bed earlier. A nice meal every three hours is a must. Energy drinks may help you but do not abuse them. One a day is already more than enough. Coffee is not to be abused either.

If you want to give more energy to yourself you might want to try some smart recovers. Leaving the job about five minutes every hour is definitely the best way to give all your body the deserved rest after an hour of intensive work.

Is healthy to work all those hours? For most people it's not because their body might not be able to handle all that stress, but for those who want to make the most of their careers it's not an option, it's a most, those who sleep more than eight hours a day will accomplish very little with their lives as they waste too much time.

Finally how many days a week should you work? All of them including Sunday. A day doing nothing isn't worth a thing and there is no such thing as rest. There is no better rest than being engaged in the right task. Rest means waste of life.
