Dosage and administration

Use the drug precisely as instructed by your physician. Avoid taking more or less than the amount prescribed by your physician.

Administer the drug at normal breaks as prescribed. Avoid skipping any dose and continue with the course even if symptoms improve.

Fungal infections generally take more time to cure. You might require administering Canditral (Itraconazole) for several weeks or even months, as per your physician's guidance. You ought to complete the full course of the treatment. If you don't, the infectivity will not cure fully.

Canditral side effects

The drug can cause nausea, vomiting, stomach disorders, diarrhea and headache. These adverse reactions are generally momentary. If you suffer from diarrhea, consume plenty of water to reinstate the lost fluids. On the other hand, if you have acute diarrhea or diarrhea with bloody stools or acute stomach cramps, consult your physician.

If you suffer from skin rashes, breathing problems, facial inflammation, cease using the drug immediately and seek for medical help. These may well be symptoms of hypersensitivity.

Cautions

Storage
