The reader will learn how to make their own martini's cocktails at home!
Martinis are often quite expensive when drinking at a restaurant or bar and rumor has it that they tack on another couple bucks for the snazzy stemware that makes them so appealing. Consider entertaining at home with your own Martini bar! They really are not complicated to make. All recipes call for filling a Boston Shaker 1/2 full of fresh ice. Make your ice they day before or the day of, because stale ice ruins the perfect martini. I am going to give you the recipes for what I consider to be the best martini cocktails: Cosmopolitain, Sour Apple, Crantini, Jolly Rancher, Lychee Crantini. Cosmopolitan: 1 oz. Vodka 1 oz. Cointreau, Triple Sec, or Grand Marnier 3 oz. Cranberry Juice 1 oz. Bar Lime Mix (Buy frozen Bacardi Margarita mix to make your own bar lime) Pour all of the ingredients into your Boston Shaker quickly and shake it over your shoulder vigorously 6 times. Then strain into a glass and serve! Sour Apple Martini: 1 oz. Vodka 1 oz. Sour Puss Apple Liquer 4 oz. Bar Lime Mix (Buy frozen Bacardi Margarita mix to make your own bar lime) Pour all of the ingredients into your Boston Shaker quickly and shake it over your shoulder vigorously 6 times. Then strain into a glass and serve! Crantini: 2 oz. Vodka 3 oz. Jolly Rancher: 1 oz. Vodka 1/2 oz. Sour Puss Apple 1/2 oz. Sour Puss Raspberry 2 oz. Cranberry Juice 2 oz. Bar Lime Mix (Buy frozen Bacardi Margarita mix to make your own bar lime) Pour all of the ingredients into your Boston Shaker quickly and shake it over your shoulder vigorously 6 times. Then strain into a glass and serve! Lychee Crantini: 1 oz. Vodka 1 oz. Soho Lychee 3 oz.

You can put together any liquors and liqueurs you want. Martini Cocktails can be made up of many parts. However, they should always add up to six ounces. There should be 2-3 ounces of alcohol and 2-3 ounces of juice. Try to keep a balance between sweet and sour.
