The main audience they seem to aim at are home users and small business owners. The unique features they offer are the free website trasfer and daily backups.

SharkSpace is a good website hosting service provider. Some of its most advantageous features are:

• Useful additional features (email, control panel, statistics). 

One of the top competitors in providing web hosting services, is MidPhase Hosting. The prices for the services they offer, are a little lower than the ones asked by SharkSpace, and MidPhase Hosting offers even more additional features. For both providers, the customer service is really good, but MidPhase Hosting offers a telephone number and tutorials, what SharkSpace does not offer. The advantages SharkSpace has, are the free website transfer and instant account activation.

So, in summary, SharkSpace is certainly not a bad choice when you’re looking for a web hosting service, but it lacks a little to be ranked among the top contenders in the field.

Sharkspace offers 3 web hosting packages: Baby Shark, Hammerhead and Great White. The difference between those lies primarily in the disk space, bandwidth and the number of domains, email addresses and sub-domains allowed.

Four reseller hosting packages are provided: Arctic, Indian, Atlantic and Pacific. The distinction between these can be made based upon the disk space and data transfer.

When it comes to VPS hosting, Sharkspace offers 3 packages: BlueShark, TigerSharks and WhaleShark. These also differ in disk space and data transfer. An additional difference is the size of the guaranteed RAM memory.

All the packages come with a 99.9% uptime guarantee, 24/7 technical support and other useful features included in the price. After browsing online reviews, there were some complaints about the uptime guarantee, and some problems with loss of data, which is not what you want to experience when you have your own website. Most reviews, however, were quite positive.

Price

The web hosting packages go for $4.45, $7.95 and $15.95 a month if you order for two years (for one year or month per month, it is slightly more expensive). These prices are a little on the expensive side, but still within the reasonable range.

The reseller packages cost respectively $17.95, $29.95, $49.95 and $95.95. This is again when you order for two years. Again, a little high, but still acceptable.

For the VPS hosting, you’ll pay $15.95, $30.95 and $60.95 (again for two year contracts) respectively.
