Does anyone know of online sites that accepts material written by adults for children?

Having written for children until recently, I am now wondering if there are content sites where adults (not children) can submit work written specifically for children?

Hi. Why don't you just submit it here? There are a variety of topics that would seem suiting for pre-teens and teenagers. I am sure your article would fit in atleast one of the categories. But if not, there are many websites that can publish your articles. Try going to google and search article publishing sites, or key words that you desire. Good luck!

Thanks FF. Yes, I agree that older children will no doubt use these articles here. I was thinking more specifically of younger children, and perhaps of finding as place for sending my short stories. My Google searches so far haven't turned up much. Thanks for your response.

Have you given any thought to magazines for children? The content is written by adults. Check Highlights for Children, Jack and Jill, Stone Soup, Boys Life and the like. As a matter of fact, search online for "Children's Magazine List" or "Homeschooling your child" as both use adult writers who write for children.

Happy hunting!

Try Story Station at ViaTouch.com.  A few years ago they published my short story A Little Ways Up.  If they took a chance on me, there's a good shot that they will take a chance on other little-known or beginning writers. It's a paying market, too.
