I can answer some of these. Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Jesus was executed by Roman soldiers under the orders of Pontius Pilate after being condemned by the Jewish Sanhedrin, so in effect both Jews and Gentiles crucified Jesus. His "offense" was that he challenged the authority of the Jewish leaders in that He is God, come as was written by the prophets to save His people and all the world from their sin. The Romans, although not findng him guilty of any charge, asked the Jewish people what should be done and the answer was death. So Pilate acquiesed. Ultimately, He was crucified as was written by the prophets that the Son of Man would be sacrificed to save the world.

Some of your questions are historical and some are theological. I suggest you find a good library and begin reading some of the seminal works on Western civilization to get complete answers to your questions. The librarian should be able to guide you in your initial selections. If that is not possible, conduct a google search on the topics and you should come up with several articles on these topics.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which was then in the Roman Province of Palestine, and is now in the Occupied West Bank of the Palestinian Authority. He did not go to Rome at any point.

Jesus was killed by the Romans, specifically, he was crucified on the orders of Potentius Pilate.

The Roman Catholic Church is one of the main denominations in Christianity. Early in the Church's history, the Roman Catholic Church split from the Othodox Church, which is mostly found in Russia, countries around there, Greece, Serbia, etc. The Catholic Church is based in Rome, and the Pope is the head of the Church.

Beginning in the 16th century, the Reformation saw a lot more denominations split off from the Roman Catholic Church, such as the Church of England, Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans, etc. They do not recognise the Pope as an authority in religious terms. A lot of these are grouped together and called "Protestant" Churches.

Hi there, I found out a bit of history on this website www.infoaboutrome.com, but nothing regarding Jesus.

After a quick read, there is a bit of ancient Roman history, talking about some emperor.

Have a look at www.infoabourome.com and I hope it can help you.

Bye!!
