Ive had gingivitis before.. but Im just now noticing my gums are
receding. Ive been flossing everyday. Does it look like I have

Symptoms: A little swelling, bleeding when flossing, tenderness,
and throbbing
You certainly have all the classic symptoms, but only your
dentist can tell you for certain if this is the case. Make an
appointment today. Be sure to let the receptionist know what is
going on so you don't have to wait 6 months to get in! In the mean
time, try rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide a couple of
times a day. It may help in the healing process, just don't
swallow!
You might also have other health problems, such as a vitamin
deficiency. Seeing your family doctor might not be a bad idea. But
a trip to the dentist right away does seem to be called for.
